Unfortunate I subbed into a gamethrower's spot. Made it so that I could do nothing. So, the one thing I could do was kill the person who ruined the balance of the setup by hard siding town.

I didn't see what happened in the first 55 pages, but mass role claims ruin balance and neutrals hard siding town does as well. Policy lynch that play, for the people who were there.

I still lol thinking about day 2 of this game. 30 hours dedicated to me and @unknown going at each other haha but hell, in the end we found out a lot through it so it worked out =P

@Whad , I think the single most important event in this game was you voting Spruance. That literally gave up everything in those last 30 minutes of that panic lynch.

@RLVG , i would have done the exact same thing in your spot there calling out to the survivor. Fking hybrid kept me on edge the rest of the game >=[


But the revealing roles is something that works well on the mod, discovered it doesn't work quite as well here.. especially with all the abilities that mafia had in this setup. But I still stand by early claims with a citizen heavy save is a decent strategy because it limits what the mafia are able to claim later; locks them into specific claims that make it suspicious or hard to switch out of. I dunno still getting the hang of the forum mafia strategies though.

Lol, I managed to get Yukiini lynched.
After the flip, I figured that it more or less came to me being a scum so I did as Voss said - "wolfing" - so that I could at least get a followup mislynch while trying to give Nawa/Fury the towncred.

I was hoping that I'd screw with everyone enough that Voss would not get lynched later on, but that failed.

Just mentioning this, it is a valid scum tactic to "ignore" someone to make that person in particular look scummy, which I find amusing that none considered.
It's my form of reverse bussing.

Also, Hybrid could've just helped us and actually won this game earlier. I did say that if he goes too hard against us, we'll kill him - which we did.

Re: mass claiming, I think that setups with even numbers of citizens/TPRs (in this case 4&4) makes it a good strategy to mass claim role slot. You can find people scummy if they claim TPR, push a lynch against a fellow TPR claimer and then later retract their TPR claim, etc. With an even number of TPR/citizens then you can just pick the more heavily claimed category and lynch from that pool. And also it makes it possible to find scum via POE. In setups with a higher imbalance of citizens/TPR like 8 citizens and 1 cop, then it's obviously pointless for the cop to claim. People should design strategies designed to punish town for mass claiming, but it's not on the players for deciding to take advantage of a mass claim strategy if it will put the town at an advantage.

I think Voss played particularly well this game. Whilst I personally had him as scum from day 1, not everyone comes to the same conclusions the same way I do, and he managed to escape being seen as a threat early on. And while he did make the mistake of voting Spruance, everything else he did looked very town to most people.

I found it particularly amazing that he managed to do "analysis" while not.

Castro claiming was pro town and pro scum and pro neutral. At the time, I thought Survivor could use his heat action and if town said GIVE ME A GUN, survivor could just be like NO i'm a HEAT. TOWN LOSES. But town totally had that leverage, and failed to use it... But no, I did that to get a good day 1 going, for the fact itself. I would have done that as town, and would do that if we ever replayed this setup.

If you ever do a mass claim in a game where it's not appropriate, I will lynch you for it. I should have stuck to my gun, but I'm afraid of getting policy lynched for policy lynching.

I tried playing that game 100% like I would as town. There are only a few times that I think I slipped on, and my toeing that line didn't help me. I could have went 100% like I would as town, like end game, not ever giving up, but I think I gave up some pushes I could have done that would have helped mafia team, if not me personally.

It was a pretty unfair game for town anyway, RLVG Voss and Fury/Nawa at the scum team at the same time while town has all those news except for whad unknown and yuki which yuki was afking the whole game? I ve no regrets but the only thing that MM will be suprassing me on the ladder thing.
Also I didn't want a scum to win with that poor "I m surv" claim on the start? What is that, I ve never believed you were a town but since you were pretty good while i didnt read the game i oculdnt have done anything with survivor act.
