Well you could say the same about the Mafia ^^ it actually makes a bit of sense from the RP perspective; these mutineers are pissed off because Adama and the military are running a fairly totalitarian regime and the current President of the Colonies Laura Roslin isn't opposing this. Let's just say you won't be voting for a Town Leader, but trying to elect Quorum (cabinet) members who you think best represent your views.

I'm playing a bit of hokey with the RP anyway, since Battlestar Galactica has so many bloody twists and turns and plot revelations that I don't want to spoil anything and it would be difficult to encompass it all. The Cylon roles and objectives kind of make some sense, and the mutiny does happen xD gotta separate the state and the military!
