1) You are trying to prove us wrong by saying it is not cheating, standing your ground would be if we throw insults or something at you and you are defending yourself.

2) Like I said, majority of people don't have time to memorize role cards, and let's say you only know the doctor role card, IF there was another 100% claimed doc then that's where your plan fails. Also, you forgot the Goal.

See that wouldn't be necessary. The idea is that if you're going to lie about your role with a card, have an idea right from the start and begin the act right away, that way when you're confronted you already know what to read that'll back up your story. That's all part of it.

2. In this case there'd still be multiple avenues. You could say you're actually a vet but no one would believe you if you read your card at this point so forget it. You could say "alright I'm SK/witch/whatever" and take the jester route. Or you could even just stick with the doc story without a backup, and hope people believe you.

Or, you could have a backup card to read. But the game never gets that complicated.

Honestly I think Jailors should be allowed to ask in most of the pub games u will play u will only get like 2 chances to jail and asking role card is the most affective but being very careful when deciding to lynch.

Not everyone is fast typer so I don't execute people just cuz they don't say.

But If I am anything else I don't ask. Btw In my humble opinion i think the loading screen should be changed to "dont ask players to read their role card (unless you're jailor and the player you're asking is jailed.)

It's only realistic for jailor to be able to get off any kills within 2 jails unless he's put into the rare late game situation with like 4 peeps 2maf 2town he is able to jail a GF or some kind of situation like that.

Jailors get two chances to execute a player, they can jail as long as there was no lynch during the day.

Depending on the settings of course.

I'm not up to the terminology, please enlighten me.

Is this literally about making people read lines from that window that's in the upper right corner of the screen? Or is it just about a jailor asking for a role.

The first seems like something only Dungeons and Dragons nerds living in their parents' basement would do. The second seems just fine.

It is about making people type out all the words from their role card. The idea is that, if they take too long, they're supposed to be lying. I've only seen it come up once in my games, thankfully.
