I'm willing to work on the wiki (update some info, add the new roles) but I don't know how to update the dynamic lists or make new pages for the new roles.
I'm willing to work on the wiki (update some info, add the new roles) but I don't know how to update the dynamic lists or make new pages for the new roles.
Do a search for a new role and create a page that way and click the edit page button to edit the main page.
Thank you, I've already updated the Framer page and some miscellaneous other small things.
What would really help is if someone could post a list of all the results investigator gets from each role. I've barely been able to play since the last patch.
Sheriff Jailor =You target is a man of the law.
Doctor SK = Your target owns several knives
Invest Consig = Your target snoops around for info
Witch Survivor = Your target is a loner
Mason Leader Mayor GF = Your target is a leader among men
Vigilante Mafioso = Your target owns weapons
Spy Blackmailer = Your target is an eaves dropper
Bus driver Arsonist = Your target owns a lot of gasoline
Citizen Executioner Jester Immune to detect = Not suspicious
Framer = Good at forgery
Janitor Cononer = Cleans up crime scenes/dead bodies (not actually sure)
Escort Bodyguard Consort = Spends night with people
Mason = Secret society
Disguiser = owns a lot of costumes
Thank you very much, I'll start working on editing the Investigator page with that, then changing the relevant pages.
Edit: If someone could get the exact words on coroner and janitor, that would be appreciated.
Jester and Executioner both have their own description: obsessed with execution.
Thank you what is coroner/janitor's description?
The role navigator automatically updated when I created a new page for the Blackmailer, but it didn't on the main page. Anyone know how to get it update/manually update on the main? I tried editing it and it only showed dynamic list.
The Dynamic List extension is kind of shitty. You have to edit the main page, but save it without changing anything. That updates it.
Thanks, I've gone through and updated all the Investigator and Consigliere results, I've input most of the Type/Level for most pages, and some other miscellaneous changes as I've caught them.
I'll probably have pages up for all the roles in the next couple days. If any of the experienced players would post advice on how to play certain roles, that would be really awesome.
Wiki should be fully updated if a little scant on strategy. Thanks to Incendium for creating the Disguiser page and miscellaneous other changes.
If anyone notices something missing or wrong, notify me and I'll probably update it within a few hours. I'll also be working on expanding the strategy and notes.
DR, in order of mechanics does the jailor's execute happen simultaneous to other killing roles and where is the jester suicide in the timeline?
Also, if a disguiser wants the janitor to clean his target, should the janitor clean the disguiser or the victim?
When is arson dousing and when does the arson undouse himself?
When is survivor?
Jailor's execution is the first set of kills. Janitor should clean the Disguiser's target. Keep in mind that disguising is not like a bus driving; it simply swaps the name, color, character, position, etc. of both people. Arson dousing/undousing is done in the same chunk as setting up the healing and doing the janitor prep, which is before the kills and directly after the witch/bus/block stuff. Survivor and Citizen vests are done right after the mafia picks their target and person to attack, and that stuff in turn is the first part of the night sequence.
Someone was kind enough to update the mechanics page with everything DR said, but I wasn't able to find who in the recent changes page.
Thank you Styx for updating different stuff and fixing some of my grammar and formatting fails and just generally being awesome for your earlier work on the wiki.
And thanks to you random IP address people, except the guy who tried blanking the terminology page, not exactly sure why you did.

And thank you for joining the Wiki-Fun, we can never have too many editors!
Would like specifics on Mason Leader mechanics. I know he can only recruit Citizens and that he is revealed if he tries to recruit a mafia member.
Does he know if his recruitment fails the same night? Is the target recruited first thing during the day?
Does he reveal if attempts to recruit a non-mafia member? Does he know he gets revealed to his target?
His target does not know if they are picked, unless they are a Citizen (and are thus recruited at the very end of the night) or are a mafia (and thus get the message containing the Mason Leader's name). The Mason Leader always knows if recruit failed or succeeded, along with the name of his successful recruit, but doesn't know if the mafia found him out. The Masons are notified if someone is recruited and are given their name.
