The video to audio service I've used for the past 6ish years is under maintenance (most likely shut down for legal issues) indefinitely, and I'm looking for a suitable free alternative.
Any recommendations?

1. You download the app, copy-paste the YT link into the app's input, select how you want to download the video (mp3, mp4, etc.), and profit.
2. Yes, I use it. I've never had an issue with it.
3. I cannot guarantee it won't, but I can tell you mine was fine with it. Same for my other anti-ware apps.
4. It's not. I, too, have this shitty OS.
Fuck mobile posting.
Strange. I've downloaded tens of songs using this app for free.
I know that I did not download the app from their official website. Perhaps that's the problem? If you'd still like to give this a chance, maybe this link'll work better.
Ok, we may try. Send me your e-mail address along with your social security number via PM, and I will give you the files.
The other workaround is you give me the links of the songs you'd like to download, I use the app, extract the mp3 file, and send it to you on e-mail.
Edit: Is this ^ illegal? Can I get fined for sending other people 'torrented' music? ._.
Maybe try this?
If you want to download music from YouTube use https://www.youtube-mp3.org/ don't be dumb, and if you want to download videos from YouTube, just put SS on the link, deleting www. Example: https://ssyoutube.com/watch?v=XbGs_qK2PQA
Just get a Chrome extension like Flash Video Downloader (have not tried this specific one, but I don't remember what the one I used to have was called) and then use the video editing software of your choice to export the audio track and encode it with your choice of codec.
@Never Unlucky
I may have to have you send me some music.
