Thank you Anonymous Donor
What surprise, host needs to delay by two days. Quick PC repair.
Forgive me. Things have been very busy and it is hard to make a decision.
2 DAYS??? Wasn't 1 the ammount of days we talked about, RLVG?? I guess I'll take those candies back
Jk we love you <3
Thank you Anonymous Donor
Are we going to continue to the next chapter today, then?
Thank you Anonymous Donor
Actually, I'll delay it for tomorrow when I've returned from the training. You'll hate me.
Reason being that I delayed writing turns until after I got my computer back from repair (and it wasn't repaired at the workshop lol), and it being on the same day as my father returns home from the northern sea platforms so there's family time. He stays there 2 weeks at a time then stays home 4 weeks at a time, so you can keep that note for potential delays. I also need to make an Excel ready for the S-FM that I'm about to host. (Signups tomorrow)
This is just ignorance, but I want to say that if it was just the cooling system, all you needed to do was reinstall the heatsink because most computers don't actually need lots of cooling.
Or just pop the side and let it vent that way- which is what I did with an older computer. Got a lot of dust afterwards. Still cheaper than repairs/replacement.
But those solutions are so darn simple, the problem is probably harder than I think.

My cooling system is my main fan, 6 side panel fans. All 6 panel fans are disabled or just not working, no matter what I do.
It was working before, but it just died. The repair guys said it worked back there.
Since it was working before, but not now - I'm extremely sure they're just lying.
I'm a multitasker.
I always have 1 MMO (WoW, FFXIV:ARR, or another game), multitasking this while doing other stuff.
Combined with a browser or two (Chrome, Firefox)
Combined with Virtual PC (Windows XP)
Combined with Xsplit Stream Capture.
Together with a preview window and a chat for the stream.
And of course, the primary thing I'm multitasking with - if I'm doing a game that's being streamed or whatever.
There's also Excel for my projects and S-FMs, dropbox and multi-managing of several files.
My computer survives this setup on Memory, CPU, Processing, et cetera... Except heating.
Eventually my computer will overheat if I don't fix the side panels which is a cooling system specifically to cool down for a heavy setup such as this.
TL;DR: A heatsink just wouldn't do. I need actual cooling. I'm not going to cook eggs on my computer.
I'm off to training, back in a hour or two.
Then I'll process as promised.
Adventure Quest V
Chapter 1, Turn 6
Buff / Nerf and/or Clarification :
Health, Mana, Spirit and Dangerous Stats do not regenerate the turn it has been reduced, effective now.
Regeneration is first in order of operations for calculating debuffs, if the turn doesn't stop it.
Stamina will continue to regenerate 5 each turn, but will be last in order of operations when it comes to player actions. (End turn)
If there's a second decimal (0.01) it'll round to the nearest number. (11.01 - 11.04 = 11 | 11.35 -11.39 = 11.4).
Now players have a maximum amount of active spells & Abilities : 10, players may ask to Deactivate / Activate specific spells at start of each Chapter.
Passive Abilities do not count towards the limit.
Multi-function spells / abilities count as one.
MacGyvering is possible, if it's practical and makes sense to an extend.
Players may share puzzles with others, for a reduced reward should it be solved.
Ending a turn with actions after a movement can be extremely dangerous and might not be entirely of your favor.
Simply chatting does not consume Stamina, things not in favor may or may not refund the stamina.
Yes, a banana can be a weapon if you use it correctly.
New feature :
If you're too villainous, you'll get a bounty when it's discovered!
Next Turn :
Players will be introduced to a list in which they may pick a Passive Ability.
New characters may also pick them off-the-go.
The host might be interested in a co-host. They may not play the game as one.
And now for the news!
The first trade has happened.
The first self inflicted damage has happened.
A player has discovered the first MacGuffin Key Fragment.
A player has tricked a NPC into killing themselves.
A player has discovered the location of one of many nuclear silos.
A player has successfully enhanced their spells.

X @deathworlds
X @Funce +
X @Gyrlander

Adventure Quest V
Chapter 1, Turn 7
New Feature :
PASSIVE ABILITIES!!!
Each player may pick a single Passive Ability.
Passive Abilities are a permanent buff / debuff that lasts forever.
It may be toggled On or Off at the start of each Chapter.
To receive a Passive Ability, you must include in the actions PM that you want the ability, and if it's On or Off.
Ability is not effective this turn, but next.
Vampire :
- Gain a Blood Meter, it's at 10/10.
- When below 5, you gain a debuff that cuts your primary stats by half.
- When at 5 and above, you gain a buff that doubles a chosen Primary stat.
- Each Turn it drops by 1, it doesn't drop at the turn you regain blood.
- When drinking blood, it refills to 10.Kleptomaniac :
- Randomly obtain an item through the quest which you never knew you got.
- May randomly trigger enemies.Ultimate Pacifist :
- You deal only 1/4 of damage now, and damage you receive is now 2/4.Hero :
- Gain an additional sidequest slot with it being exclusive to Hero.
- That additional sidequest slot will always have a randomly generated quest.Crazy Speedster :
- Actions cost half the amount.
- You gain the ability to fast travel to any tiles you've visited on the world.
- Die in two hits OR die by a single trap, regenerate an additional hit (maximum of two) each chapter.Thirst & Hunger :
- Gain a Thirst and Hunger meter, it's at 10/10.
- When Thirst is below 5, you gain a Dehydrated debuff that cuts your Health by half.
- When Hunger is below 5, you gain a Hungry debuff that cuts your Stamina by half.
- When Thirst is at 5 or above, you double your Health regeneration.
- When Hunger is at 5 or above, you double your Stamina regeneration.Evil :
- Punishes the player for commiting good acts.
- Increased rewards the player for commiting evil acts.
- Easier to get away with crime if no witnesses / suspects, significant danger to getting Wanted otherwise.
In other news, we received a new player! Never Unlucky.
A player has managed to get a rowboat and is now sealing the dangerous seas, you freaking maniac.
Two players has met this turn and they're informed of it too.
The Sun God has taken notice of the fire and has used his powers to stop it entirely. Louvran Jungle is now safe.
A player has killed a bunny and left the corpse there.
The host is a fan of warcraft and the next expansion is out very soon, so the host does 5 days instead of 3 days the next round.
Edit : Stealth update, host sneaks in an additional 2 days due to having been too busy.
Let's see how long it'll take to be called out on it.
Players :
X @Calix
X @deathworlds
X @Funce + +

To RLVG:
Gift accepted.

I wonder how OP some of those passives are. (A couple of them look tailor made to player's and their actions シ)
Can the Primary Stat be chosen at will?Vampire :
- Gain a Blood Meter, it's at 10/10.
- When below 5, you gain a debuff that cuts your primary stats by half.
- When at 5 and above, you gain a buff that doubles a chosen Primary stat.
- Each Turn it drops by 1, it doesn't drop at the turn you regain blood.
- When drinking blood, it refills to 10.
Idea: Limit stat increase changes to only when they drink blood. OR Stat increase is according to the type/quality of blood they drink.
Kleptomaniac :
- Randomly obtain an item through the quest which you never knew you got.
- May randomly trigger enemies.
Definitely should buff this one.Ultimate Pacifist :
- You deal only 1/4 of damage now, and damage you receive is now 2/4.
Idea: Give a bonus to the Good stat (*hint hint*) or Endurance.
Balanced, in a host balanced way.Hero :
- Gain an additional sidequest slot with it being exclusive to Hero.
- That additional sidequest slot will always have a randomly generated quest.
This is OP, and vastly outclasses Passive: Thirst & Hunger.Crazy Speedster :
- Actions cost half the amount.
- You gain the ability to fast travel to any tiles you've visited on the world.
- Die in two hits OR die by a single trap, regenerate an additional hit (maximum of two) each chapter.
Idea: Change the ability to fast travel to "You may move two tiles during movement."
Kinda weak, and other for story purposes I can't see why anyone would be tempted to take this one.Thirst & Hunger :
- Gain a Thirst and Hunger meter, it's at 10/10.
- When Thirst is below 5, you gain a Dehydrated debuff that cuts your Health by half.
- When Hunger is below 5, you gain a Hungry debuff that cuts your Stamina by half.
- When Thirst is at 5 or above, you double your Health regeneration.
- When Hunger is at 5 or above, you double your Stamina regeneration.
Idea: Simply apply this passive to everyone alive. For easier calculations, just tell players at the beginning of each chapter they are at 4/10 hunger.
Balanced, in a host balanced way.Evil :
- Punishes the player for commiting good acts.
- Increased rewards the player for commiting evil acts.
- Easier to get away with crime if no witnesses / suspects, significant danger to getting Wanted otherwise.
Countdown Timers Cannot be Quoted from Other Posts, but I probably should have posted this much earlier.
I'll change it so it's only humanoid blood they can use. Primary stat should be chosen each chapter.
Doesn't really need a buff, as player's progression will lead up to more endurance or better gear anyway.
They die in one hit from a trap, no exceptions, and they can only take two hits from all other sources.
The fast travel is also extremely dangerous as each tile have "aftermath" effects and changes.
Fast travel only counts for unrestricted zones that allows movement out in the world.
I should probably add in that they can't fast travel immediately after a fast travel, so they can get crushed by an army they accidentally jumped into.
You say it's weak but the selling point is the Regeneration. Host also doesn't want to monitor a health & hunger on every single player, but rather those that decide to have it.
Should only fill up with normal food.
I'm only level 867 Item Level, playing Mythic. Totally "not too much" lol. Already got the "Glory of the Legion Hero" achievement.
The DDOS attacks were during the nights and there was only one massive one which slowed the gameplay but didn't prevent it.
Source material is actually from a manuscript of a movie series I'm writing, with an inspired game out of it.
Additional source material from a book / game I'm writing that's unrelated.
Easter eggs and similar however may be inspired from local game sources.
I think I'm just undervaluing the health stat. Looking back, I think a lot of these comments were simply from my point of view. After seeing APPA and Calior take different passives, I simply wonder what the heck other people are doing and what passive would suit their needs.
I had assumed that a trap would kind of ohko. Maybe I was wrong? Probably wrong, but Lyrin needs to get stuff done. She has places to go.They die in one hit from a trap, no exceptions, and they can only take two hits from all other sources.
The fast travel is also extremely dangerous as each tile have "aftermath" effects and changes.
Fast travel only counts for unrestricted zones that allows movement out in the world.
I just wasn't sold on the regen, maybe someone took this passiveYou say it's weak but the selling point is the Regeneration. Host also doesn't want to monitor a health & hunger on every single player, but rather those that decide to have it.
Should only fill up with normal food.

Edit : Sad, some players missed out their actions.

Someone has obtained a musical instrument.
A fallen star has landed on AZ - 34.
