A Problem i found today

A problem with the game i came across last night. There was four people left, Consig, Mafioso, Escort, and Bodyguard. I was the escort. During the day, the Mafioso quit. At night, I was unable to block the mafioso player (the button wasn't there). So despite the fact that i was unable to block him, he was still able to make the kill at night.

Why did the bodyguard not save you? That my friend is the real question.

Also, if he would of left at night he wouldn't of been able to attack unless he somehow forced the attack and then left and his button disappeared. I'm not sure that's ever happened to me though.

Truth be told, the consig had us all convinced he was a random town investigator. so the bodyguard was protecting him. LOL.

But anyways, i believe the problem is still valid. Say there is a Godfather that cannot kill, and a mafioso left. The Godfather can send him to kill someone without anyone able to block him because the button is gone. So my major concern is, if the player has left, can we make it so the button does not disappear and his role can still be blocked?

I'm assuming the main reason the button disappears so someone doesn't accidentally try to heal, shoot, invest, or block someone who left like normal at the beginning of the game(After naming) or something like that. At least that's what I always thought.

If it really can cause this issue then perhaps it should be changed.

Isn't it possible that the consigliere promoted to mafioso after the mafioso left the game?

In over two months of Mafia's existence this is the first time something like this happened. Talk about a rare occurrence...

In any case, I am removing the in-the-game requirement for most of the role actions.

The Mafioso is left at day, right ?
so, it's mean he's dead, so you cant block him. But the Consig became GF, and he still can control him all the night -> Make Mafioso kills.

Consig wouldn't become GF until the following night when the Mafioso was no longer counted as part of the mafia, I think.
