Most Enjoyable Anime

Panty and Stocking was definitely... interesting. Though the whole time I'm watching it, I'm kind of like, "Gosh I hope this isn't how Japanese people view Americans."

I haven't watched Mirai Nikki yet, but it's definitely queued. Thanks for the advice.
Has anyone watched these? They're the ones that are airing right now that I'm considering.

Deathfire, I'll most likely watch the first one, mainly because it's subbed by one of my favorite subbing groups (I know, I watch some animes for the dumbest reasons). But thanks for you input. Now I know I'll enjoy it!

As for Mashiroiro Symphony... I had looked this one up earlier. But I saw it classified under "harem" anime and it severely deterred me from watching it, lol.

And Luna, I know this sounds blasphemous, but I have actually not watched the entire Princess Mononoke, and the few parts of it I did see were in like, when I was in 3rd grade. ;; I know it's a huge favorite amongst anime fans, and I don't know why I've never watched it (probably because I'm not really into anime movies, especially really old ones), but I'll make it a point to watch it over Christmas break.

I looked up Peacemaker Kurogane. I've always wanted to watch one of those samurai animes, like Hakuoki or Rurouni Kenshin, but I've never gotten around to it. ;;

I've actually never watched the first Last Exile, Apocist. Will it affect my understanding of the sequel a whole lot...? Or should I just go ahead and watch the first one no matter what? Heh.

i'm not sure about specfics since i've never actually watched it but I heard there were several episodes during which 5 seconds of time supposedly passed, only 5 seconds - were shown over the course of several episodes, each of them 20 minutes long.

Oh god, yes. When Cell was transforming into his perfect form it literally took 3 full episodes for him to do it (or maybe it was just 2, whatever it was it felt long). I was engaged in DBZ when I was younger but this was definitely something that irritated me.

At this point I only really like DBZ for some of its video games

It is only harem in the sense that there are multiple girls in love with the protagonist. It is mainly drama/romance and not the typical harem

I would think so, but then again I never started the latest Last Exile...I can tell you the main characters appear to be different

Just finished watching Requiem for the phantom today. Sumi suggested it to me and it does not dissapoint. If you hate tragedy however, perhaps you should avoid it. Its a very dark anime.

I've watched this anime... Don't know how the visual novel turns out, but the anime becomes gradually more and more dissapointing as you keep watching. The beginning is awesome, and then all that awesome goes down the drain.

I always recommend the VNs first...well this one in particular...is well...i dunno but the counterparts both seem very different from one another.. the anime wasnt as freaky/horrific to me maybe becuase i read it first...but the VN certainly makes u feel like your there.

Guess the anime can recap a lil so things make more sense a second time.

Currently my favorite anime is Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood. For those who haven't seen it, I highly suggest it. Great story, very well written characters, and great humor.

Another favorite of mine is Ghost in the Shell, a psychological cyberpunk based anime.

Shakugan no Shana! To Aru no Majitsu no Index, Steins;Gate, and Kara no Kyoukai. I'm partial to Fate Stay Night becuase the visual novel was so much better than the anime.

Kara no Kyoukai, the last movie where She cuts the dude in half, I watched it so many times over and over again.

And apparently Fairy Tail is really popular. Magic and all that. Got through the first episode and chapter. Might pursue it.
And some other good ones are Triage X and High School of the dead...more scandalous at times however..
