This gambit fails since witch would have to specify 2 targets. So someone else would have to confirm it aka the witch would never claim busdriver unless throwing.

    Bus Driver

At night you may swap two players at night, swapping night actions done on each other.
If you only target one player, your second target is randomized.
    You can not target yourself.

There is this wonderful thing called "lying." It's kind of a big thing in the game of Mafia. I assumed it would just be someone picked out.

    Do you not understand?

Witch doesn't know any other scum.

If witch thought you were scum adn claimed bd she had to specify 2 targets, you and someone else.

Someone else wouldn't confirm the claim since it never happened.

Therefore it would be equivalent to gamethrowing.

Explain how your gambit would work given this.

It's a mislynch push, or it could be an attempt to claim the person was drug dealt. I've seen tougher things in the past. Why would any sane NK claim what I claimed, even if they don't look at the OoO? That requires the Witch to actually cooperate and that's way too much of a risk. It makes more sense from a town perspective as you aren't as worried about said risk.

A: you are an experienced player, you know that if you are in a situation where your lynch is almost guaranteed it can be best to claim very radical information[such as being witched]

B: We may or may not have a witch and you are just saying fake feedback if you are sk.

C: Witch wouldn't cooperate in the first place regardless of affiliation since it would be a gamethrow as stated above.

D: You attempted to pull off a gambit that would fail if you even bothered to read the busdriver rolecard, no person actually trying to do a gambit to help town would do something that fails just by reading the rolecard.

A: And... how does claiming being Witched help someone not look scum? Like you said, Witch does not know who the other scum are.

B: Same as above. But also, once again you assume the NK is an SK and has no possibility of being an MM.

    C: I addressed this already.

D: So... I'm scum for not reading properly? Guess half the fucking game is scum then huh?

A: It deflects the attention basically you claim something that would normally be something a scum wouldn't claim since you are guaranteed to be lynched you may as well try a gambit.

B:Killer could still be MM, I didn't say I am 100% certain, I said I am nearly certain. Also you could be a mm who got roleblocked. If we go by raw probability it is more likely that you are a killer who was roleblocked[if we have sk 100%; if we have mm about 7/11~70%) than the killer is a mm who got unlucky(about 3/11 30%)

C:No I don't believe you have. You said the witch would claim bus driver to help you. But if that was teh case the witch would have to claim TWO targets aka another besides you, who would the witch reasonably choose since the witch doesn't know who the scum are? AKA the other target would not confirm the claim and the witch would be lynched even if you didn't say you were lieing.

D: It's not like the signups said read this carefully or there's this thing that town do when doing a gambit its that when you do crazy gambits you take the time to read the three lines of text on the rolecard you are doing a gambit on.
