My suggestion is not to pick the mode with the killing roles.

its just common sense.
investigation + protection are always the better option.

do roles correspond to modes? I didn't see an indication of that anywhere.

in any case, townies are likely to not have voted, while scum did, and I don't think we should do escort again, but tracer has a point with the switching role thing.

yeah its true that scum are likely to have influenced the starting mode. but if they have powerul escort roles then surely town have powerful counters to that, yeh? not sure if thats a good enough deterrant from picking escort again

i thought offence would = killing roles.
guess i've been confused by the multiple name of different modes and then possible roles.

(defence, offence, support)
(investigation, protection, killing)

I just have really mixed reads and can't separate scum from town right now appart from the people that I just say that "I don't like" but they're not that strong (train that dissapeared quickly and weird feeling about someone) to be voted. Still, I understand that I must vote someone but considering that the players that I've mentioned are active and having conversations that I do not dislike I will vote someone that I would like to hear more about.

I'm caught up to this post and thought I would comment on it. I think I might get why you Scum read lucio. I get the read. Its subtle tho, he's playing more from a town perspective than Scum IMO.

Also, as of this point, I'm feeling much better about Tracer and feeling much worse on Soldier. Also hate almost everything Torb has done.

Again, its all in the stances he has taken. Its like they are confident yet unsure and then gains more clarity and works off that, not at all like he is working an agenda. Scum are opportunistic in the way they push stuff and tho they have changed their stances on stuff its because they are seeing new info and adapting rather than just going after what looks like it could get traction. In short, they are too independent in their outlook on things.

My point still stands, we shouldn't stay on escort tonight. Debating if I should personally ask everyone's opinion on whether votes should be secret, and whether they agree with escort being a scum sided version, or just coasting because no one's going to bother.

More than mixed reads is that I can't separate people between scum and town. This game is making my head feel weird.

I said I "must" vote someone because the only power I've is that one. Instead of wasting it and not using it anywhere I should put it on someone to hopefully result in some effect on the game.
