What deathfire said. If you do get mafia, the other mafia in the night chat will be able to help you out a lot. I wouldn't do anything to major, since this is your first game, but don't be that citi that says mason me then disappears. Read the other FMs, look at other peoples mistakes, read the night chats, all that fun stuff.

The same IP wouldn't come from the same general area, I believe it would have to come off the same modem/router/PC. They could just be buds, but since that cannot be confirmed without going above and beyond forums, it is fair to treat it as if it is one or more persons attempting to cheat, as that is what is indicated by the activity.

Respect is a two way street. Jack and me got in a tiff when I disliked the way Philie commented on my playstyle in FMV. Jack hasn't let it go since and insults me whenever he's got the chance.

I believe my play in FMVII can be a good learning curve for first time Scum players. As in, once you're accused never assume anything. I was a little unfortunate that pretty much nothing else was happening (so a 'sheriff' pointing his finger at me and calling me guilty was going to be difficult to get out of), but I've learnt not to be very pro-active in my defense. I mean, after calling myself vigi forgetting about the day shot I was in a hole I decided not to even try to climb out of and instead sow some confusion, but because I'd been too eager to defend myself I didn't let the Town do the usual bickering and doubting - by the time George had started talking cryptically about Shawna it was too late.

This is a trap you can fall into a first-time scum - you're used to being able to prove yourself, or at least you don't feel guilty so you don't panic and try too hard in your defense. You start preparing your long-term defense without thinking of the short-term.

Let's see, FMII I conceded during the day because the only paths that led to a De Luca victory were not cleared the night before, and didn't want to waste everyone's time.

FMII was your best game I will admit. I still have no idea how Narks found out you were mafia or if he was just trolling.

1. FMV I was pissed off because DR was prepared to leak who I was to Procyon to ensure that FMV lasted long enough for him to be able to host FM6 when it was convenient for him, 2. and because the players decided to take the low ground instead of playing the game properly.

1. This is kind of stupid but it's no worse than what you did in your FMVII death note.
2. Mass role claim is playing properly to get rid of a role that insta kills everyone by a certain time. There was no way to prove anyone was telling the truth about any of your roles and you could have counter-claimed easily and made them believe you and not them, however, you didn't have A LOT of time, but you could have survived another night, and won. You saying its bad play is you ranting, like I said previously.

FMVII I didn't say shit about anything.

Your death note threw us under the bus, when Deirdre was killed the following night, it pretty much proved you just threw our game away for us.

And I'm not so arrogant as to give him advice, if you had actually read what I said you would see that I suggested he learn it for himself, like the rest of us did.

I gave him some general advice that is listed in Yayap's guide. How does that make me arrogant? Helping him with some tips may help him survive longer and have a better experience in the long run.

If you really want to discuss why I have lost every game thus far, I will be happy to. But you will not find such a discussion to be satisfactory to your ego.

You lost all but one of your games because you either had nowhere to go, and were forced into something, or because people didn't make decisions that didn't ultimately work with your game. At least, this is how I see it, from reading FMII over again, I still really can't comprehend FMI because of Narks' stupidity that somehow won him a game.

The exception, is FMV.

Meh. While I'll admit that I played far from great in FM2 , Procyon was killed early and False was cutled N1. My choice to kill MileS caused the Du Luca to lose, and I appologised to Jack after the game. While I feel bad for that, if I had have killed a town that night, would I realy have any more of a chance of winning? Understand also that in that game, according to the kill chart, I would have lost in a 1 vs 1 with Raiden, even if I managed to get rid of Jack. Even though Raiden was realy pissed over it, my chances of winning were next to 0 either way.
