Suicide glitch

When you commit suicide by typing "-suicide", you get a message saying you will lose points, but points are never taken away.

I thought it meant that you will lose points for the current game that you might get if you stayed until the end. I suppose the points are distributed after the winner has been determined (more points for winning less points for losing). No points will be deducted for suiciding.

This is correct. You will not receive your points if you suicide and immediately leave.
