Notification of Failed Role Block Bug?

I've had this happen twice now.
Chalked it up to possible human error first time - but twice seems like a bug.

As escort, I blocked someone who is later revealed to be godfather.
No witches or bus drivers interfered in either case.
Godfather role options were set so he cannot be role blocked.
Escort is supposed to get message if role block fails.

But neither time did I get the message the role block failed.

A logical Escort would not block the same person knowing that blocking him still allows a GF kill.

Wouldn't nothing happened if he had a Mafioso do the kill? Because then really, there's nothing to block. OP didn't mention any lack of Mafioso.

Both times, it said right in the role card you will be notified if your role block fails.

I'm not really sure why you said this.
I'm talking about two separate games, where at one point in the game, I blocked someone who is later revealed to be godfather — with godfather set to 'cannot be role blocked' — and no message about a failed role block coming up.
Didn't say anything about blocking anyone repeatedly.

Even if so, in both of these games, GF was mafia's killer — no mafioso.
I know because the setup is mine, and it is set up so mafioso cannot be one of the initial roles.


It happened again tonight, by the way — blocked godfather first night, no message about a failed role block.
No other escort in game, witch already dead, no bus driver.

I doubt I'll ever fix it, because I don't know how it could be caused.

I've also had this issue before several times. If there's no chance of it being fixed, may be well to take the option out then?

I don't believe I have ever seen a role block failed message. I know I have blocked consort/escort/Immune Godfather.

It's not even an option. I'll try to fix it, but I can't guarantee it will work.
