Did anyone else sell their thieve's guild armor at the start of that questline? I was so heartbroken after doing like 40 misc. objectives to become the head of the guild and god damn Tonilia is like "Oh in order to become the master, you need the master armor." "Where is your thieve's guild armor?" I'm like, I don't know. "Well, you better find it." I CAN'T FIND IT BECAUSE I SOLD IT A MONTH AGO.

And now I can't get my damn achievement.

What mods do you all use? Ones you consider essential. I actually don't have any.

Vanilla , since i am stealth Archer i would like to have a mod for arrow crafting. Running over all cities again and again to get a supply of arows is just meh.

I haven't had much of a problem with arrows recently, after a couple of tombs I had a lot of Ancient Nord Arrows and I keep coming across lots of bandits/etc. that carry a good supply of Iron Arrows. Still have a few hundred of them left, so I use them while my stock of Orc/Dwarven/Elven arrows steadily goes up. Haven't had to pick up the skill which lets me recover more arrows yet. I do use daggers and swords a fair bit though, if an enemy gets in Melee range I switch into skirmisher mode.

Oh God I'm now level 53 and am rocking over 200 damage in each hand (dual power attack deals well over 1000 damage), plus nearly 400 armor rating (and I don't even have most of the Juggernaut perk levels). What the fuck is this shit.

And I have more items than I could sell to all of the shopkeeps in the entire game, combined. I need 100 speech and both the +500 and +1000 to shop gold perks to get rid of some of this shit, since some of the items I have in storage sell for over 8000 gold a piece. Crafting will make your character unbelievably rich, very quickly.

dunno i run at 90 smithing and like 60 enchanting. what exactly did you abuse?

I'm about 37ish, I haven't even begun properly doing smithing or enchanting yet. I have about 20k gold, a decent sum, but in my house I have hundreds of items I can't be arsed to sell. I usually like to hoard any magic items just in case, and I like to keep a full set of each matching armour set. If I needed another 20k I could make it overnight selling junk, easily.

I also have a buttload of furs, leathers, ingots and ore. I'm waiting until I get bored of adventuring, and want to kick back and spend an hour or two crafting. Once all my most active skills start getting into the 70s-90s it'll be helpful to give myself a level boost with all that crafting. I also have a bazillion ingredients, ready for my huge Alchemy binge.

I picked up Civilization V yesterday night for £6 on Steam, and that's already eating into my Skyrim time in a big way

Draugr, Restless Draugr, Draugr Wight, Draugr Scourge, Draugr Overlord, Draugr Deathlord; seems fairly substantial to me.

The armor rating is about 450, somewhat low only because my heavy armor is not maxed out yet, and I didn't focus on the armor boost perks. I'm using highly-improved daedric armor, though. My blades are doing 200 each because my one-handed is maxed out, they are daedric swords, they are improved to the maximum, and almost everything I wear has fortify one-handed enchanted on it. Once I near max-level, I'll fill out the heavy armor perks and have well over 1000 armor.

Current gold is around 600,000 (what the fuck). Most of it was earned by crafting. At one point I made 400 dwarven metal ingots and ran around using the right-hand dual weapon power attack (lunges you forward quickly, spammable) and the whirlwind sprint shout in order to carry back all that stuff. This was a week ago. I still haven't sold all the shit I made with those ingots.

I can just spend 20 mins in a tavern, requesting and listening to Bard songs and ordering dinner whilst chatting with the locals. Then I may go on a flower-picking trip, maybe raid a tomb or pickpocket a whole town.

I'm pratically level 40 now, just finished the companions questline and starting the theives guild questline. Procrasinating about finding the elder scrolls because that dungeon just looks like a bitch

I finished the college of winterhold questline too fast accidentally and now I can't get my unlimited supply of diedra hearts, I just settle for dragon armour and ebony helmet, gloves, and boots. Ebony looks the best of all the armours.

I haven't looked into modding at all, the deciding factor should be that the game is epic.... 60 hours well spent in my opinion, and still many more to come :3. I'd have more but I spent the last week playing Skyward Sword, which is a very good game by the way.

i got this game like a week ago and im like level 23 or something, fun game but easy to level up if you keep pickpocketing the trainers for ur money back, which gets boring after a while though. i havent finished story line but it seems cool.

imo i think this game deserves game of the year

The thing I've always loved about the Elder Scrolls games is the fact that the user creates their own entertainment. I've had characters before which I've min-maxed with stats (in games like Morrowind you had to properly think about what skills and skill-sets to use, so when you levelled up you could max your stat upgrades without wasting points, etc.).

And despite all of this, every Elder Scrolls game just looks at you smugly and says 'Oh yeah pal? When you level up, our monsters level up too'.

BTW at this point I'm throwing 300 damage per hand and have max armor (589 or something; 80% damage reduction, more armor does not help you) and 100% destruction cost reduction.

Is there a Lock Door spell in Alteration? I used to enjoy using it in past Elder Scrolls games, you could do funny stuff and sometimes it would be really handing when running from a hard enemy.

hm, hm, good point u got there.
storm cloak would be red mafia, orange mafia would be dragons? (not sure lol)
townies would be imperial i think, and dragonborn can be neutral, maybe dragonborn can side with stormcloak or imperial, but not sure what his abilities should be, but dragonborn cant win with dragons.
