If you immediately start calling out odds or evens at night, the Town could make a point of trying to identify you (Investigator finding Corruption and Disturbing the Peace) or kill you (Vigilante). Also, if you out yourself as the Judge early, odds are that the Mayor or Marshall will not reveal for risk of being courted. Calling court after a Marshall has revealed is one of the strongest moves a Judge can make (3-4 lynches) and I'm very hesitant to give up that chance just to reveal a day or two earlier.
I tend to find Crier to be a weaker Town Government role. There's no harm in revealing that you are a Crier at night (particularly, if a protective will heal / guard you). However, if you reveal odds / evens or your number, you could easily get targeted by the Mafia / Neutral Killer (sans a protective). If the Town has protectives left, you can of course reveal as Crier and ask everyone to PM their roles to you. Since a Doctor can heal the Crier, you're safer doing this than as a Mayor (usually can't be healed) or Marshall (can never be healed).
Moving on, I think that two Town Government saves are weird / often overpowered for the Town. Having two roles that can self-confirm is very strong for the Town, especially in the hands of capable players. And finally, I don't think the Crier should typically be attempting to direct odds or evens kills. If the Crier has a good idea of who the Vigilante should shoot, he can call that out, but remember, everyone can see those instructions, and the scum might be able to respond in some way (for example, if there is a Beguiler or Janitor to hide the Mafia member).
