There is no Ambient, there is no Luna, no Crimson.

No it doesn't. You just fuckin level a hero to level 5 and you get 500 gold.

Let's see BRANDON, if you were to level the free hero rotation all to level 5, that's about 5k gold, not to mention gold from daily quests and playing games.

Ya that takes for fucking ever man, all the good heroes are 10k and it's still taking forever even with my free stimpak and at level 17 I've got no heroes unlocked except for valla and only have 9.8k

And that's along with the many level 5's you get while getting there. It's fast enough.
At least it isn't as slow as fucking hearthstone.

If ur good at arena and get a little lucky it isn't that bad. Especially if you want to dump money into the game. I've never bought packs, but I've bought all the expansions. I think I could get legend if I put enough time into the game with the decks I have available.

Everyone disappears eventually, unfortunately. The best we can do is to keep our memories of them and the fun times.
Hopefully some day, they'll return. Permanent isn't actually permanent in most cases.

As for decent community, I agree, why I made a few threads regarding to fix the forum ethics and some other things.

I have gotten the max streak on Arena multiple times due to these overly disbalanced decks.

Things change. People go. People come. It's a shame when your friends leave, as that particular person can never be replaced.

It's a Shame the forums are not what they used to be, and darkrev no longer actively develops the mod. but ive seen it improve since last Christmas. It was practically dead then. But it has picked up activity recently which I am happy about, and no one knows what will happen with LotV.

Hopefully we can find a new developer, and perhaps advertise the forum more. Since it is hardly noticeable.

Well of course, but the chances of that happening is very low. I would say 75% of the time you wind up with a mediocre deck, 20% of the time you go 0-3, 5% of the time you go 7+

It's not quite as bad as it seems. There's an exp buff right now that makes it faster to level heroes to 5. Also, play with a friend for another exp buff. Then you have daily quests for a bunch of extra money and playing QM for bigger payouts. I have been playing for only 2-3 months and without too much grinding, I have 10+ heros already with some expensive ones like Jaina.

There are also a bunch of "value heroes" that are good in HL and cheap like Valla (one of the top 2-3 assassins only for 2k), Muradin (extremely durable and good with stuns), ETC, Li Li (reliable, if boring), etc.

Yeah, Blizzard is really pushing F2P now, for better or worse. The free rotation makes enough playable that you can have fun most of the time though. If you play HOTS for a month or two, you'll get enough money to unlock a couple of heroes that you want, and then you can rely on the free ones for the rest. It's just a question of getting to 10 heroes for Hero League down the line.

I prefer dota where you just have every hero available immediately

I lurked on COM, which really was not a community forum. Also, I date back to DR's Mafia on WC3, which was so fuckin addictive, but the dota bots made it impossible to get a full game unless you got on at a lucky time or had friends.
