    Role - Druid

    This is a role I have already talked with informally about with DR, but I wanted to get it out in the open so the community can decide if it will work.

    Allegiance: Town

    Ability: Lay a curse upon a person to murder them 3 days in the future (the amount of days is subject to change). Limited to 2 or 3 curses.

    Investigated Words: You target is a Mystic. She may be a Witch or a Druid

    Pros:
    1) In a late game situation with mafias = town, this role will be able to turn the tide in favor of town through a series of clutch killings, one after the other.
    2) Vig role can be replaced with this role in a custom setup to avoid early random kills that kill off essential town roles early on.

    Cons:
    1) Relatively useless in the early game scenario and is vulnerable to noobs (random kills/early curses)
    2) It is a killing role. Do we really need more of those?

    Possible Implications:
    Jester roles may find it harder to troll early on because of the risk of a curse.

    Notes:
    1)I would not mind changing this role (name and investigator description) to hide the arson instead of the witch. I feel like many neutral roles are weak right now because when investigator/sheriff find them, they are instantly killed.
    2)Coding this role may be difficult, so this may not get implemented quickly.

    Please share your thoughts on this role below, so we can decide whether this role is worth the effort to code.

    You visibly put a lot of thought into that, and it's not a bad idea. However, IMO, it's just a weak vigi. If you played arso a couple of times, you should have noticed how hard it is to douse people who will not die soon.
    Plus it will be even more random-killing friendly than vigi, since you have (close to) no clues the first days, and later on you want to kill people before the game is over.

    Your idea is good through, personally I would have seen some kind of Poisoner or Pharmacologist who would give medicines
    which would kill people in 2-3 days, with side effects the day(s) before, like random incoherent babbling in chat or inability to vote.

    Thanks for the input. I see the role as a replacement vigi rather than a weak vigi. I feel like the vigilante is flawed and easily manipulated. To avoid the stupidity from new players and create a more exciting late game scenario, I feel the Druid is a much better choice. Obviously, we shouldn't make it the number one priority to get coded, but we should definitely consider its place in the mafia lineup.
