Roles that inhibit trust and speak for other players!

SC2Mafia needs roles that prevents people from always trusting what a confirmed town has to say! These roles would force players to think about other player's dialect/idioms/spelling/ect. Doing so would allow you to find out changes in speaking patterns, finding who is being controlled. Also can help Town with locating Ventriloquist by the way they speak! Just creates a whole new level to the game.


Ventriloquist
Evil Neutral

Target a player at night, controlling them the next day. Can speak and vote(?) as yourself and target. Limited to number of uses, or limited to not targeting same person two nights in a row.
Wins if survives and town loses


Ghost
Benign Neutral

Die in the game, and then Haunt your killer. After you die, via night action or lynch, see your killers faction lose. After you die, you may possess one player at night, talking & voting as them the next day. You know what faction you must see lose, but not who the players are.




Roles that promote last wills!

Why haven't these been implemented yet? It's one of the last possible investigative roles that can be created without copying other roles! This would change the game by increasing last will production, and also cause scum to create fake last wills and plan their fake claims early. I feel these roles would increase gameplay a lot.

Slueth/Dirty Slueth
Town Investigative/Mafia Support/Triad Support

Target one player at night, receiving a copy of their last will.




Roles that reflect night actions!

A role that reflects night actions back to the target can be real game changer, and a protective role that has yet to be introduced into SC2Mafia. It could also be used as a Neutral Evil/Benign, but not really needed.

Magician
Town Protective/Power

Target a player at night, reflecting all night actions done on them back to the sender. Cannot(?) target self. Limited charges(?).




Roles that deframe!

I think Mafia could do well with a Deception role that can deframe a Mafia member. Could even be given "Bus" feedback, to prevent Bus Driver from being an auto-confirmed town.

Garbage Man
Mafia/Triad Deception

Target two players at night, swapping only their Investigative results. Can be used to give Detectives/Investigators incorrect results, or can possible make Mafia members seem NS to Sheriff. However, it's not a perfect system as a Mafia member can be swapped with a Neutral Killer, or a role who's investigative results don't match their own. Feedback matching "bussed" is optional.




Other roles, that I won't go into much, would be ones that receive a copy of a player's night feedback (investigative), or one that prevents a player from receiving any sort of feedback (including target was immune to attacks, ect).
