Summary: From the beginning of the game until he was lynched by the town, GoatseCraft continuously ranted in capital letters about being angry about the outcome of a previous game (something involving the town believing false claims of a mafia / triad member having been bussed and not pursuing a lead against that player -- this might have been to mock another player in the game who had previously vented in the game's lobby about this very issue). In response to his spamming, the town voted GoatseCraft up for trial and GoatseCraft refused to provide his role. Predictably, the town then lynched him and it was revealed he was a Doctor. Before the game, GoatseCraft also made comments suggesting he was going to troll and / or game-throw. Candidly, this player is on the toxic side (it is not his first report) and hopefully, more punitive action can be taken to deter this behavior in the future.

I was the original report filer, and to the extent GoatseCraft decides to ask for an appeal, I wanted to provide some additional color on his behavior.

Having been in a number of games with GoatseCraft, his MO is to goad the Town into executing him or lynching him for no apparent reason other than his own entertainment / in order to ruin the game for others. This is very clear from the multiple reports that have been uploaded on him where he does not play his role or otherwise play the game to win -- instead, he incessantly bombards the Town with made-up leads and / or incorrect information until they lynch or execute him, which is usually very quickly in the reports that have been posted. It's perfectly fine to have some fun or role-play in Mafia; however, that doesn't mean that you, as a Town member, should provide the Town with objectively false information without a really good reason (e.g. trying to pressure to weed out the Mafia members early).

In this particular game, GoatseCraft was not actually bus driven (I don't even think there was a Bus Driver in this game) and therefore, no one could have confirmed that he was telling the truth -- i.e. there was no Bus Driver or other person bus driven to confirm his lead. Nevertheless, he aggressively spammed the Town with this false lead until he was put up to trial. When he was on trial, GoatseCraft refused to give his role or last will, but instead, continued to spam his false information to the Town, which is pretty much a death sentence in 99% of cases, and he knows it. I would be very interested to hear making up false information, spamming that false information until you are put up to trial, and then refusing to provide your role / LW while on trial does not constitute game-throwing and is instead, a reasonable Mafia strategy for a Town member. As I stated in the original post, the actual motivation behind GoatseCraft's Bus Driver lie was to mock another player who has been complaining about Bus Drivers in the game lobby before the game had started -- essentially, GoatseCraft chose to make up information and get himself lynched in order to mock another player, as opposed to for any actual purpose benefiting the Town.

After he dies, in death chat or after the game, GoatseCraft typically proceeds to complain and justify his behavior by saying that the Town was stupid to execute / lynch him and that he shouldn't be responsible for poor Town play. He's made this bad argument over and over in game lobbies and the game setup screen and it's honestly becoming a bit tiring. My understanding from previous reports is that staff members have spoken with him on occasion, and he has promised to clean up his play. However, it doesn't seem to have happened based on the series of reports that have been filed against him.

To the extent that GoatseCraft asks for an audit, I would request that his punishment be increased in the event that the original decision is upheld (which is a possibility in the appeal process instructions). He has a track record of bad behavior in Mafia games (this is far from his first approved game-throwing report) and I find it ridiculous that he continues to justify game-throwing and wastes keeper / staff time reviewing these types of reports, instead of just cleaning up his play.

So there are 3 reports on you recently. That looks like a pattern of destroying games. What I read in this report does sound like game throwing to me. It sounds like you did not make any attempt to play for your win condition and also made a strong effort to get lynched. If you had a strategy here its not game throwing. All you have to do is explain why you did what you did. Darkness did not and could not review this replay. Nopro did.

So you know a 4x ban list is 4 weeks banned. I am marking this as an appeal to be reviewed so its not just 1 staff's opinion on your actions. But as I said the key thing here is you being able to show what you did in this game was something other than trying to get yourself lynched and playing against your win condition.

But saying you're going to become the next Necroplant and threatening us? Why would we want to help you? If that happens, this account will just instead be permabanned. In which you'll forever lose your clan tag, your achievements and your account; all of which you stated that you value so much. Then, in-game staff will just continuing banning you from every game you decide to join because you have declared you want to become like Necroplant: a sad grown man living with his mother, jerking off to his sister, trying to commit suicide by drinking anti-freeze, and wasting countless hours of his days joining an online game just to make everyone feel as shitty as he does. That's some great life goals you got there.

Anyways, I would consider considering an attitude transplant if it meant my account would be unbanned, as well as my clan tag. PS I'd also like to request my points be restored on my main account, as I destroyed my Dell laptop in anger after noob team kept feeding and cannot carry noonb in bronze. I think I had around 11000 points because I play this game all day, but I'd settle for an even 10,000 so I can prefer citizen and bodyguard. In regards to one of the replays, I was roleplaying as a player named "Verne", who was whining excessively about being lynched as a bus driver or something. Really I am on a lot of meds and can't remember more than a few weeks ago but the point was to be funny and parody that player (but I guess the town wasn't a fan of this). For the other replay I was probably trying to bait the mafia somehow. I employ a lot of Quantum Strategy in my mafia games and its difficult to follow my own plays sometime. However I've recently stopped doing plays like spamming the first day, as the town usually isn't good enough to follow what I'm doing and ends up shooting them self in the proverbial foot, kind of like how I shot my Dell Inspiron laptop with a BB gun after my team thought they could pick yi and sivir even though we had no hard CC, and then fed and lost me my bronze 4 promo game. In conclusion, although I'm sure darknessB had the best intentions when making these reports, they're only serving to get a good and very serious player banned when I did not intend to throw at all.

So I was trying to reply to this thread earlier at work but it doesn't seem to have gone through on my phone. Anyways I will reply to both frivolous reports and explain my actions and why I behaved as I did.

So in the "Bus Driver Incident", I was roleplaying as my good friend "Verne", as he was spamming last game about how mad he was that the town hung him while he was the bus driver. I thought parodying him was funny but apparently the town did not so they decided to random lynch me :^)

In the second game I was using my quantum strategy to find suspicious players who wanted to lynch me day 1. Unfortunately the town obviously didn't pick up on this advanced strategy and they hanged me. I've since stopped using high-level metagame strategies like this, because most plebians nowadays can't properly take use of this, as seen by the jailors actions who executed me (even though I claimed LO, which i figured was less likely to get me executed). The town not picking up on my "level 5 metagame" strategies reminds me of a game I played in my bronze 4 promos of league of legends, where my noob team didnt capitalize on my expert teemo mid plays and fed and made me lose my promos, as well as made me destroy my laptop, which was a Dell Inspiron.

Anyways I dont remember most of those games because I'm on a lot of meds but they definitely weren't malicious actions on my part. And if this reply doesn't go through I might have to destroy this laptop like I did to my old Dell inspiron, after my noob team fed and lost my bronze 4 promos. Was the game altered?
Yes, a doctor who claimed to be bus driven trolled town to vote him up and then lynched him. No real evidence was on him but claiming to be bus driven and no bus driver caused this to happen. He looked and acted like jester all game.

Will I do think there is a possibility you were doing a play by pretending to be jester to avoid getting targeted by the mafia/triad. You should not continue that troll on the stand to avoid the lynch, pretending to be bus driven when you are not is very suspicious behavior and I would’ve put you on the stand too to ask for a role myself in the same position. If I thought possibility of jester I would ask all to inno except myself to take the jester bullet. This doesn't seem like a strategy, your actions up until lynched seemed to be just trolling for sake of trolling.

Regardless you have to understand 1 very real point here. A LOT of players have been reporting you. This means that you have bothered a lot of people enough that they reported you. I would assume that you had a ton of other games which you bothered players but were not reported. Our purpose as staff is to preserve a players ability to have fun. To prevent others from ruining their experience. With that said I hope you can look past your punishments and find a way to enjoy playing without hurting others experiences.
