Bodyguard dies when protecting cult?

Is bodyguard supposed to die when protecting from cult convertion?

cause i get many games where bodyguard ignores immunity and confronts hes target then it ends with bodyguard dies and no other killer role was put down with him.

wich is kinda annoying when i was bodyguard too, protected my target but only i died!

can people who gets in a shotout be healed (not bodyguard) ? when bodyguard cant be healed in shotout but can the other part be?

Theres several ways bodyguard can die without taking the other person down

a) ignores immunity is off and opponent was immune
b) You protected someone who visited a veteran, thus the opponent was the veteran but veteran cant be killed on the night he alerts.
c) your opponent was healed.


Personally, i've always wondered what would happen with multiple bodyguard.
I.e:
Bodyguard A protects Victim B
Bodyguard C protects Enforcer D

Enforcer D attacks Victim B, Triggering Bodyguard A to step in to protect him.
Bodyguard C steps in to protect Enforcer D from Bodyguard A .....

Would it end with both bodyguards killing each other in a shootout with both the original attacker and original victim surviving?
