Night I - You can run...

The first day of gathering has brought nothing but confusion in the town of Midgar, as no one knew who was deserving their trust. Shinra henchmen and the other scum out there spread as many lies as they could. Cleansing the city was not going to be an easy task.

People left the plaza and walked the road home, their hearts filled with mixed emotions. Some of them didn’t dare looking behind, for fear that they could be stalked and ambushed. Some were overly paranoid, carefully weighting every step and turning their head in all directions. Some others were just hoping that everything would fix by itself, and in the end all would be fine.
Not even President Shinra, accompanied by his loyal guards, was immune to the aura of creepiness that was shrouding Midgar.

Meanwhile several shady figures, unnoticed by crowd, quickened their pace and entered the back alleys in the Slums. They had different plans for that night...

As the streets emptied, distant screams and other sinister sounds reached the ears of the citizens. Those who would survive knew they would remember that night forever, for it was the first actual step towards a new future.
