    Role suggestion: Daytime Vigilante

    I think old mafia players already know this role but I will create my variant of it so it fits this game:

    Role name: Fearless Vigilante/Daytime vigilante

    Description: You are a Noctiphobic vigilante who can only kill during the day.

    Alignment: Town(Power/Advanced)

    Abilities: You can pull out your gun and kill someone while in the day chat. Type -kill to activate your ability and choose your target. You can only use this ability before someone is voted to be sent to trial/Unrestricted(Ballot). The role is only revealed to you and the person you killed enters dead chat. The person's role is revealed to town the following day. You can use this ability only once, choose wisely.

    Win condition: Lynch every criminal and evildoer.

    Dead person's death description: He was found dead in the forum of voting. He was killed by a high-caliber gun.

    Special Attributes;
    • - Automatically kill all role-blockers.

    When investigated by sheriff: Your target is not suspicious.
    When investigated by investigator: Your target is an arsenal of weapons. He may be Jailor, Vigilante or Mafioso.
    When investigator detects exact role: Your target is Daytime Vigilante.

    Host options: Is revealed as Daytime Vigilante (and cannot be healed at nights)
    Host options: Kills role-blockers.
    Host options: Is auto-revealed to Jailor if he gets jailed. (Jailor doesn't die)

    Pros: Mysterious fun role, killing role.
    Cons: Can be hard to choose whether to use or not the ability.
    Overall effect on the metagame if implemented: Town will doubt people more, will make it more interesting.

    Additional comments: Can be a great combination for the Godfather to claim Daytime Vigilante, having killed a blackmailed person. Can be a great combination in a non-mylo/lylo situation, killing between Ccs to know who is lying and get one mafia or two at once.

    PS: It's not a typo, it's Noctiphobic. Nyctophobic is fearing the dark, Noctiphobic is fearing the night.

    Just wondering, wouldn't everyone see him kill the person? I mean did everyone suddenly blink at the same time long enough for him to pull out his gun, aim, shoot, and put the gun away.

    I think I'd rather see the generic 'Gunsmith' enter the game, UI permitting. Having a straight-up daytime killer is OP when you consider that all other killers have to contend with other factors at night such as Bus Drivers, Witches, Doctors, Bodyguards, Veterans, Detectives, Lookouts, Consorts/Escorts, Bulletproof Vests and Night Immunities.

    I think a Gunsmith giving a gun to someone at night for use during the day doesn't place the power in just one person's hands. Most Gunsmith roles include the caveat that the Daytime shooter has a 50% chance of being revealed as the shooter - whilst I like this, it's been specifically stated that no random % belong in SCII Mafia. In this case, I think daytime shooters should be revealed. After all, if they had a legitimate reason to suspect someone then they can jolly well tell the rest of the Town, and it doesn't give Mafia a clear target because they won't know the shooter's actual role (unlike the Daytime Vigilante, who would have to be immediately outed).

    Gunsmith is not fitting the SCII mafia. People are dumb enough to random kill with a gun lol -.- Also daytime killer is balanced if he is revealed and cannot be healed. Also he becomes the most useless role in the game after shooting his one shot, because even if he can be healed doc wouldn't bother as he can't do anything and has no passive benefits. That's what makes his straight up kill balanced.
