Role - Jailer

Not sure if this has been mentioned before or not as a possible role, but I keep reading it on the Epic Mafia wiki and would like to see it in game.

Allegiance: Town

Ability: Jail one person each night, Only if no one was Lynched that day.
Jailed person and Jailer can communicate during the night, Jailer will have option to Kill or let Jailed person go.

Pro: Essentially works like a Roleblock, but only if no one was lynched.
Can choose to kill Roleblocked Person, sort of like a Vigilante choosing to shoot.
Jailer is anonymous to Jailed person, appearing only as "Jailer" in their private conversation.

Con: If someone is Lynched, effectively the Jailer cannot do anything.

Tweaks: Perhaps as a Balancing issue, give the Jailer a limited amount of times he can sentence someone to death, so the Jailer would have to think carefully without abusing his ability.

Personally, I'm a fan of Jailer, Ventriloquist and Disguiser, but all of them seems pretty hard to implement. That being said, DR already did the Bus Driver, which is hella complex, so maybe there's some hope

Back to the topic, I think it's a great suggestion and I agree the number of "kills" should be optional to balance it. However, it's a very potent role since not only you can roleblock people, but you have also the possibility to protect them from harm.

I like it, and I like that it is an actual role. It'd probably need some adjusting (as suggested, maybe limits to the amount you can do it) but it's still solid.

I really think this would be a valuable role, and I think you are right about the limited amount thingy. I just think that Jailer can role block every night when nobody gets lynched but has like 1-3 times avaible to kill.
