This guy has all kinds of balls. He pretty much called the 5 members of the supreme court out as having a huge lean in favor of the rich in regards of political dialog. He is pushing for an amendment that will both restore this balance and finally strike down the concept that our first amendment is absolute. I wouldn't be surprised if he gets assassinated with the amount of toes he is monkey stomping.

Our government will go from violating the shit out of our 1st amendment rights to staying in-line with the law. Examples like "You can not yell fire in a movie theater" because it could cause panic and people could get hurt or "You can not instigate a riot" and even the legality of noise ordinances. This all just makes sesne.

The larger part of it concerns campaign financing. To date most campaign financing laws have just been made to counter corruption without paying in mind to ensuring equality. This would allow the creation of new laws that protect equality in elections. It will make it harder for rich people to influence elections.

The fire thing is my favorite example of our corrupt government. That was the ruling of the supreme court during WW1 so they could arrest anti-war protesters.
