What happened to IH Games?

Few months ago it was so easy to get an IH game..
Nowdays, for me, seems like no matter what time is nobody is on or willing to play.. and when an IH happens, it never is full like it used to be.

Is people starting to play less or have you moved to another channel -.-?

I hosted for a few hours last night. I try to host a few nights a week.

Mafia channel is losing people. Nowadays, there are less people in the channel, and a third of them are on Away status. I doubt the rest are even playing mafia.

However, the good news is that the quality of pubs has improved.

It seems like the EU Mafia channels solely consists of myself half the time.

It's all swings and roundabouts though - I don't stay in the channel long since it's just me, I go play a pub and log off. I expect the EU Mafia channel sees others logging in but not staying since it's empty. Even so, I bet I could stay in the channel for 4+ hours and still not get an IH game going, even if everyone stayed in there.

I agree that the quality of pubs seems to have improved. I think the kv and watchlists have helped a bunch.

People probably won't like this proposal, but what if we scheduled in-house games like bus routes? That is, we agreed that people wanting an in-house game would wait until the next quarter-hour (ie. xx:00, xx:15, xx:30, or xx:45) before starting their game or going pub?

It may sound like a long time to wait if you want to play, but in principle if everyone did it you could just show up at the right time and get a good game that's at least half in-house, rather than always having a bunch of pubs going on at the same time with 2~3 in-housers per game.

Someone really need to make some calculations on the amount of IH players needed at a given time so that the maximum wait time is 15 minutes for each game. You know... the Poisson thingy.

During late afternoons or early evenings, you may expect up to 55 people in the channel. On weekends, do not be surprised to find that 78 people may be in the channel at once.
