What's a good gaming controller available for PC? I was just going to hook up a 360 controller, but I wanted to see if there were any generally better controllers possibly made specifically for PC use.

My friend use controllers from https://www.razerzone.com/gaming-controllers
i use a usb 360 controller. it was just laying around the house. i would prefer a ps3 controller if i could because most of the games i play are ps1 or ps2 games on my computer.
whatever fits in your hand better is what you should go with.
Only casuals use controllers on a PC.
I have a 360 controller and 2 logitech controllers.
I personally like the 360 controller because I am more familiar with the console.
Here are the links to what I have:

WHITE BOY SLIM WAS HER~
Wired 360 controller is the easiest controller to hook up for your PC, and I'm sure logitech controllers work. I haven't gone into 3rd party controllers though.
If you're looking to play action games like DMC, use your 360 controller. If you're going for side scrollers, get any controller that has the d-pad and button layout aligned, like the Dualshock for example. The only thing is that I don't know how those controllers are configured, unlike the 360.
I have Dark Souls and it's impossible to play without a controller. I had a razer 360 controller somewhere but I have no idea where it went.![]()

Spoiler : :
Basic : SNES, plugged with USB.
Average : PS3 Controller.
Advanced : Ergonomic N64 Competition Pro /W Mods & USB.
Snes :
D Pad, Shoulder Buttons, 4 Action Buttons. Depends on the game.
PS3 :
- D Pad, Two Joysticks, Four Shoulder Buttons, 4 Action Buttons, Start Button, Select Button, Joystick Buttons.
N64 :
A, B, C-Up/Left/Down/Right, D-Pad, Joystick, Shoulder Buttons, Z, Start Button.
- Mod : Multiple keybindings on what the controllers are by adjusting turbo and etc. There's 6 front turbo switches and 1 back.
If you don't like these controllers, you'd be better off with just a pro gaming keyboard and a 1500-19200 DPI Mouse.
