Spoiler : roleplay :

Everyone was sitting there playing poker, it was quite a heated game going on. A person comes over and wants in, everyone looks at each other and tell the player to pull up a chair. They mention they are using wildcards. The figure grabs a chair and sits down not seeming to care. He jerks up and sees the pot. His hood went up showing his face for only a moment. Nobody seems to have noticed but one person. He could help but ask what happened to him. The figure looked up again, they couldn’t see his face but they could tell he was annoyed. He seems to look back to the poker game and looked at his hand and then called it. Everyone stared at him a bit longer then continued to play. After a bit of playing the person asked again.

“What happened to your face?”

The figure was just about to fold his hand when he paused. He didn’t look up but instead spoke. His voice was rather quiet, but deep.

“One hand of five-card draw, win and I will tell you, lose and I get all of your chips”

The person looked at him. He looked at his hand, he saw how he was about to fold. He agreed and showed his hand, the person flipped over his hand showing a full house. The person who agreed to it stood there in amazement. He looked back at his hand, the figure didn’t even discard. He knew the odds were stacked against him. He merely discarded one card, it was the colored joker.

The person knew who he was talking to now; he looked at him and nodded. The figure pulled off his hood to reveal his face. Everyone was in shock, his face had a huge mark on half of it, but not any ordinary mark, it was the mark of the jester king. He was one of the sole survivors that escaped from the insanity of it. He looked at the person and then smiled.

“You are trying to find him too aren’t you?” He grinned, “They say he’s unpredictable on where he will show up next, that wherever he goes, insanity will follow in its path. Well, I have been hunting him and I think I know where he’s going to strike next. Rumor has it that he is going to appear in this city soon.”

Everyone in the bar starts to murmer about what they would do and everything. Suddenly the doors swing open and a crackling voice comes out.

“I’M BAAAAAACK!” the person shouts, it was the Jester King. He walks in and looked around.

“Nice place we got here.” He pauses to see the person with the scar, he gives a wild grin “So you are still alive after all this time, eh? How nice.”

He walks over to the poker game and sees the card on the table. He sees they are still holing their cards. He saw the card on the table and looked at the other person. He looks at the pot and then asks him if he’s going to draw his card. The person gives him a hard stare, he then takes the top card and places it face down in front of him. The person with the scar shows his hand that ends up being a flush. The jester king grins and laughs. The other player then proceeded to play down his 4 cards. Imminently the jester king frowns seeing what the hand was. He looks at him and then smiles.

“Dead Man’s Hand” He says. “It’s been a while since I have seen this. You know I may be crazy, but I am fair. Seeing who you are now and what that means, I’m willing to play a game with everyone here. He gave a grin and stood up. I bet all of you want my powers and spread madness to the world, but alas I can only give it to so many. My time is growing short as well, so why not play a game?”

“I rather take those powers from you by force” someone said and charged at him. But he moved out of the way and tapped him. The person fell to the floor and then vanished. He looked around and asked if anyone else wanted to test their luck. Nobody said anything.

“Good. With that settled let us begin.” he looked at everyone for a moment, then he walked outside and seemed to have murmured something. Then he came back in and said for everyone to come outside. As everyone exited they felt something strange happen to them. When they got to the town square where the Jester King was waiting they noticed he had some rope. Someone was about to speak but when they spoke it was different. Someone else went to say something but it also came out weird. Soon everyone was panicking about what was going on. The jester king snapped his rope and got everyone’s attention.

“Now that I have your attention, let’s get started shall we? You may have already noticed that I have changed your speech patterns, this is intentional, I would love to see you guys do nothing more than freak out about this; I would like to have some fun. I know some of you guys want my powers and some of you guys want me dead, heck I know some of you guys don’t care, but we are going to play where the winner gets to decide what to do. All you have to do is win. Also see this rope I have? This is my rope that I use to drag people away it requires 7 votes to hammer.. What happens to them is for me to know and for you to find out. I will also be using this to clean up any messes that happen. So be careful.
