Yeah it's actually a lot of fun. Basically like Russian Roulette. It got really interesting when it was down to 3 Vigilantes and 1 Mafioso. Of course they got lucky with the 25% chance random lynch.

This save seems more of a troll build. I'm not sure about now, but back in the day these were considered shit builds aswell as troll builds. The target game is one where the towns need to effectively lynch and put thought into it, if you lose your investigatives or protectives you're fucked. Something 'troll' so to speak with no real way to discern mafia from triad from vigilante. I don't think this build would be accepted, though it may indeed be interesting. Try to think of something interedting where the town doesn't simply shoot to kill.

I'm afraid that you used that (.gif?) wrong in this situation. You're right, just because it's different doesn't mean it's troll, but I just don't see something like this getting spotlight as an official build simply because it's shoot to kill with no background information, which kinda disrespects all -Mafia- is about.

While it may be fun, it doesn't seem like it could be official, like I said, because the point of -Mafia- is *supposed* to be town vs some type of organized crime as well as possibly a lone killer. The title "Ensley's Variant" makes it seem as if the intention was to *potentially* get put up as an official save, albeit I may be wrong and just taking this whole situation out of context.

Yeah I get that it is not at all like a typical game of -Mafia-. It is totally just a fun thing to be different. You have to have a room of people that don't mind messing around for a game, and I've had no problem getting people to accept it. Most of the time I load it people are like "LOL FUCK YES"... The games last like 10 minutes obviously so it's not really a "troll". Just something fun to throw in every once in a while.

I dont judge the setup is not fun because it is not normal.

Myself's setup is more oddball than most of setups.

The point is:

Mafia is a text game.

This setup requires no talks just shoot.

You might as well set day time as 0.1 second and night time 10 second.

If shooting is the biggest fun here,
Then why not just play a shooting game?

This setup might give people some thrill once upon a time.

However, people will soon grow tired and be disgusted.

I can see how it may be fun to start out, but I can tell you now it's not fun playing 5 of these matches and 9/10 times getting killed N1 or N2
