Then how come you just say "I'll answer that later" or "I'd prefer to answer that at a later time"?

It's what I've been doing, and I have clear motivations to doing that.

Im starting to wonder if you even read what I posted after you posted your jail chat post period
    Lmfao.

I did read it, but I didn't realize the significance of it until now.

Man, I am facepalming real hard. GG. I lost the game.

I bet. You share it with your scum team in night chat or thru word association during the day. If you were pointing it out to healing roles you should have been more direct since he is now the most important heal we have.

Implying it wasn't intentional. You already had a good idea who the jailor was before you posted in your jailor chat.

@Nicol: you don't gambit with a role that important and confirmed when we have no other positive town reads. It is not your life you are gambling with, you don't get to run the gambits for it.

I already ahd a good idea who the jailor was before I posted in my jailor chat? You assume way too much of me, my friend. I've barely been in this game, I still haven't finished reading day 2, and I just made a hugely dumb mistake.

I'm really disappointed in myself, and am considering asking to be replaced because I honestly don't deserve to be playing, I'm so bad.

If town ends up losing this game, I'll claim full responsibility for the loss. I really need to stop signing up for these things. I either don't contribute or all, or seriously screw things up when I do. I don't think I'll ask to be replaced, though. Better to own up to my own mistake and live it through rather than ask someone else to come try and fix it for me.

I only ask that you don't screw town over further by lynching me for being so horribly bad instead of lynching an actual scum. Unless you think the town is better off with me dead regardless, which, I couldn't really blame ya for, given the gravity of the mistake I just committed.

Lol, why is everyone misspelling my name? There's no g. IF you actually want to vote for me, it's "FM Masrath."

Anyway, dude, you know what role I am. I wasn't lying to you, I'm not scum, I'm just horribly bad at this game. I missed your earlier post, I mistakenly revealed you, it's all my fault, my bad. But I promise I wasn't honestly trying to hurt town. Let me have a chance to try and fix my mistake.

As I pointed out, the colors you chose as your favorites are the exact same the jailor posted in opening post. I do not believe you never made the association. Now is when you claim a role.

    Hm.

Masrath is probably town, and this is a bad wagon.

You're voting Masrath for... publicly outing the jailor in daychat, while she could just wait, as scum, then tell the scum in nightchat about her jail breadcrumb and kill the jailor.

Her outing is a boneheaded move, yes - but Derp Town is still Town.

    Lynching her today is dumb.

I didn't notice his post until Nicol quoted it, and I didn't make the association until, well, when I made that post earlier about me making the association.

The jailor knows what role I am. If he thinks I should claim it publicly, I will, or he can reveal it. I'll defer to his judgement on this one; he's obviously better at the game than I am.

Alright, I'll bite here. I was waiting to receive a clarification about a certain issue from the host (whether or not I should be able to see the logs from my night chat with the jailor) before saying this, but now I've received the answer (no) so I feel like I should disclose this now.

I received a notification of being jailed soon after Day 2 ended. In that notification, it said to "Please allow up to 1 hour to receive access to jail chat" or something along those lines. Anywho, more than 24 hours later, I still didn't see any jail chat threads anywhere, but there was this "An Abandoned Warehouse" sub-forum that was completely empty that I didn't remember seeing before. I questioned the host about this; turns out my jailor had afk'd the night away and not said anything, nor even created a thread for us to talk in. So, with host's permission, I created my own thread. Given that I haven't been participating very much in this game, I figured I wasn't a very good target for a kidnapper, so I reasoned that it was probably the detainer that had jailed me. Following that logic, I told my jailor my role, told him my little tidbit FoS about Tezzeret that I mentioned at the beginning of this day, and asked the jailor if he had anything he wanted to talk about. About 8 hours or so later I noticed the jailor had responded to my post, asking "wut iz ur favorite color".

I told him "Blue. Or green. Or bluegreen. I can't really decide between the two. You?" If he ever responded after that, I don't know, because I ended up falling asleep before he responded, and by the time I woke up and got back around to checking the forums, the next day had started, and I no longer had access to our jail chat.

Very jail chat. Many productive. Much useful. Wow.

Given I'm still alive, I figure I was right about my jailor being the detainer, or the kidnapper decided I wasn't worth killing.
I will let rest of town decide for themselves. My vote stays.

So. Do you think that Nico Bolas is town because he could have just waited to tell his scum friends in night chat about Masrath's outing the jailor?

    Re: Day III: Premonition

Allow me to explain why I think that the shroud of bad grammar contributes to the dark read on Nicol. He said in his defense post that he does that to bait out the darkness. I feel that this is a distraction to undermine his attackers. His stances on subjects differ greatly from what I know to be of the light. He is dark not because of his insistence to cloud understanding, but because of his ideas and words and actions.

Masrath is probably of the light. You should be more careful, Masrath. You fucked up. If the jailor is extinguished tonight then you will have his blood on your hands.

Chandra, do vote for this dark individual, Ajani. He has shown that he will not help the light. His posts are dark and his responses are hateful and try to cloud the light.

Maybe. I've been really busy with a lot of stuff on my plate the past few days, and I have some leads of my own to follow up on and notes to catch up on.

For example, Tessebik. Would people rather I do in depth stuff on 1-2 people max (one of them will def be Tessebik) or do generalized reads on everyone where I point out towntells/scumtells so we can start trying to PoE it out.
Do me: very few people have even acknowledged that I exist this game (save for Ugin, who seems overly friendly, and Vraska, who asked me a question), so your reads should be almost 100% original.

Town gambits to protect someone are overrated
Town gambits to lynch someone are not

Also, I said I was gonna get Chipotle but I wounded up in a Christian Youth meeting after and stayed.

The role card of the blinding light says that the message is the same as the shrouding darkness. Both give the same message.

I too am curious but I understand if that person feels like holding the light for a more opportune time.
