This was a while back, but I MAY HAVE said I "hacked", although I never actually have done any computer hacking (since I don't know how). Doesn't actually punishing people for only "saying they hack" seem like too much? What if I meant hack in a different way (like hacking off a slice of a cake)? Even then, this warning wasn't a complete sentence and is ambiguous (does he mean I'll be punished if I say it again or if I say I'll "hack again")

This made me snicker.

I think its a loose loose for the mods when someone says they hack. If they do nothing someone will be upset. If they do something someone will make a topic like this.

Hacking is zero tolerance, period. If you say you hack, we will automatically take your word. If it cannot be concluded from context that you meant otherwise, judgement and possible punishment will be issued. We try to make this apparent to everyone before we punish them. Not all cases get a warning.

He's following orders from above (me/admins) and doing his job right. We do not allow any discussion of hacking in the game and will continue to follow this path.

Really depends on if you looked suspicious that game.
Suspicious + claim hacked = take word for it, permaban.
It's shitty to do because it puts US in a tight spot. If we do nothing, it proves you're lying, if we kick, it proves you hacked and ruined the game (in the minds of pubs). Lose-Lose. If you just claim it, you'll likely get a warning in game and we'll review the replay afterwards.

All you achieve by claiming hacking is lowering the amount of evidence we'll check for to see if you hacked.

You shouldn't do that unless you have any real evidence...
ESPECIALLY permabans.
But whatever, I know to now watch what I say in game, seeing as some might take it seriously.
I would say a WL is fair, but not banning without evidence.

We don't permaban automatically, we usually will give you a warning, and then check the replay to see if it is legit. Also claiming hacking can lower our respect for the specific players.
