Most of the games on front page are terrible. The quality of games on there has risen though (by a tiny bit) since a year ago. I honestly don't think the average SC2 player understands what a good game is.

Mafia is an awesome game... Havent played in awhile though since there hasnt been any new updates. I'm thinking thats why other players have switched as well. Been playing Galaxy Vamparism... pretty damn intense and actually pretty strategic lmao.

The average player doesn't want to wait for an eternity to play a game. Only popular maps have chat channels that aren't empty, so those don't help either. So a lot of players will just play whatever is on the front page, although they might know that most of those games aren't that good.

This surely doesn't help, the amount of offensive and racist remarks that can appear just within the first 3 seconds of joining a lobby can be a real turn-off. I've had to report several people to Blizzard because it's so extreme, especially when you just join a game and a couple of trolls decide that you're the random new victim of their hatred.

I love Mafia and I can wait a long time for games, but sometimes I'll just have to stop playing because of a few immature players that take things too far (mildly entertaining trolling I can handle). The problem is that you can't just join another game because you'll probably run into them again given the limited number of players EU side.

Try Island Defence, I found it much more fun, it's one the 2nd or 3rd page last time I checked.
