Donor abilities > Battlenet drop

This is just purely on my own experience, but it seems as though more often than not if I activate the donor abilities I get a Battlenet drop. If I don't activate them all is fine.

Anybody else experienced this?

I always drop before getting the chance to enter my donor code. Usually right after the loading screen.

If I drop, it's usually the instant the game loads.
