Hello and welcome to the: Monthly Tournament Marathon #2

Hosted and Run By, Team STAD:
-Slaol (co-Host)

Starts: Officially, Saturday August 17, 2013 at 12PM EST or 6PM BST (for you Brits) with the start of the first round.
Ends: In 3 - 4 weeks from start to be decided by the hosts.

Info:
-We have learned from the failure that was the last Tournament.
-It will be 3 - 4 weeks (~1 month) long
-It will have games every weekend that you can play to get points
-The Top 3 Players with points will get Prizes (Video Games from steam!!!!! OMG! )

General Tournament Rules:
-All events must follow sc2mafia rules (as directed by the Rules and Team STAD)
-If your going to sign up for the Tournament, please do so in this thread by going: /sign
-Over the course of 1 month, there will events that members can gain points.
-Prizes will be determined by the amount of points at the end of the month.
-Any player that plays over 75% of the games, gets automatic bonus points for the next monthly tournament.
-Prize donations will be accepted.
-In the event of a tie in points, another game will be played only with the members that are tied (TBD by Hosts).
-Reserves are only allowed in the event of rounding off a team.
-Smurfs are not allowed in the tournament. If I find you signing up with a smurf, I will personally ban you from this and any future tournaments.
-Acting like a troll, griefing, hacking or causing general problems for the tournament with a purpose in mind, will result in you being ejected from this tournament and you will not be able to signup for the next one.
-Points are only to be recorded by (Team STAD only) the host (at least the official points) and will be placed in the post below (See Scores).
-Any signups Team STAD finds questionable, will be put to a vote from the people already signed up.
-All rules subject to change (by Team STAD only).

Game Rules:
-You must follow the rules of the game you are playing.
-You must follow the General Tournament Rules.
-All games will be Multi-player based.
-You must listen and obey Team STAD's orders/commands.
-If your team is (or if your not on a team but are) successful in winning the game event, you will receive 1 point for that round.
-Participation points and sportsman points may be awarded by Team STAD.
-You must be there within 15 minutes of the start of a daily event or you may not receive any points. (Because it is not fair to the people who show up on time)

Prize donation Rules:
-Anyone can donate to the cause, please PM or any of the hosts me if you wish to donate.
-Any video game donations are accepted, as long as they are legal to own. (e.g. DOTA2 beta keys, steam game keys, etc.)
-All donations will be given to players in the tournament, at the conclusion of the tournament, Team STAD will not keep any donations.

Prizes:
-Grand Prize Winner gets up to a $15 game on steam paid for by TimeTrxSlaol.
-2nd Place gets a prize, up to a $10 game on steam paid for by TimeTrx/Slaol.
-3rd Place gets a prize, up to a $5 game on steam paid for by TimeTrx/Slaol.
In addition 2 Game Codes will be given out by the hosts at the end of the tournament.
(I will wait for sales if you guys want a $60 game when it goes on sale for cheap)
(If no one on Team STAD has your account information on steam you will not receive your prize, we take no responsibility in you (a player) not giving us your info to contact you with)

Game Info:
There will be:
-Starcraft Saturdays (an event day, for Starcraft 2 related Arcade and Custom Games, Starting 12PM EST/6PM BST)
-Super Sundays (an event day, for non-Starcraft 2 related free-to-play Games, Starting 12PM EST/6PM BST)

Every weekend event (there will be between 1-3 games played of the following (to be chosen by the hosts the day of):
-Starcraft 2 (Only on Saturdays) (Melee, Mafia, Hero attack, Light Cycles, Blasterbots, Poker Defense, etc.)

how do I download TF2, I keep clicking "play now" but all it does is say "this game can not be played offline"(from steam) and then nothing happens. I always keep clicking allow or accept >.>

I kept searching on the main TF website but when I go to download or play now, it just sends me back to that same steam page, and that play now button does the same thing.

is it really free to download and play, or is it a scam to buy the game...
