Why was my donator rank taken away?

I do not recall doing anything bad. I spammed the chat at the beginning of a game yesterday but I will stop doing that now. It says I am respected and not a donor and now I can't have colors on my name .

Well, for now the game still recognizes you as a donor, though I'm still waiting for the legal department to get back to me on whether or not that's allowed.

Also I'll go ahead and say that I will manually give point bonuses to those donors/patrons/benefactors who are offended by losing their powers. Blizzard put me in a bad spot because I can't give everyone these powers, I can't just take them all away, and I can't link any kind of benefit or status to anything relating to money. I can understand why they don't want their game to be monetized by the players but I'd prefer for them to come forward with a more agreeable alternative like sending them some % of the donations (if they want to make a map marketplace I think that idea would have a shot).

Blizzard would eventually find out and then cause me more grief if I make a system that automatically linked donations to points, because even though you CAN get all the benefits through playing a lot, it's still an incentivized purchase of shit that Blizzard owns, in Blizzard's eyes. Now that they've actually "caught" me, any attempt of sneaking around it would be largely unsuccessful. Their lawyers found and perused this site, after all, so anything I say here would eventually reach their ears.

I'm not sure much can be solved. Believe it or not, the legal notice was fairly friendly. But it'll turn ugly if I fight it, and that could end up in more than just a deletion of the map and a banning of my account. If I am to fight it, I need a very solid platform or it'll be a needlessly risky waste of time.

Blizzard is just jelly that Dark.Revenant is making monies while they aren't. More money for DR!!! I might put my money to DR instead of Heart of the Swarm. It would be cool it you could generate a mafia game w/o having Blizzard involved.....
Oh well. At least we still get to play DRs game and donate to help him out (especially to spite Blizzard lululul). Plus we still have FM (which can be more fun tbh)

You can still get the benefits, you just have to have the appropriate ingame points. Which DR said he would provide if you want your powers back.
