Timetrx once called me 'Head of Community Events', this has become my (sort of) title in joking passing in skype. Someone then said I didn't actually Head any Community Events. I decided to change that.

This winter, 6 months from now, I want to get a mass meeting together, several days, activities, drinks (for the able), etc. This is the opening post before any planning to gauge interest.
The meeting will most likely be in the United States, because most members are from there.
The meeting will most likely be in or near Texas, because there are a lot of members, and I can plan it easily and effectively. If someone else had a good idea somewhere near New York or California or wherever I will coordinate with them to make sure everyone interested can go somewhere they think sounds fun.

This plan is in super pre-game mode right now, but please post if you would be interested, and include your nation/state/province so we can decide where to host this.

Please don't see the word 'Texas', and just ditch out because you'd prefer somewhere else, lets scum hunt and figure out what direction to take.

This is only the front runner right now because I could cover literally 100% of the planning, and no one would need to do anything.

Some sides of Texas are unappealing, but in my time in Calgary I compared it most closely to Austin Texas, which is where the event could take place. Cool, fun, drinks, art, food, nature, the whole shibang. And the Texas Winter is about as easy as it gets.

New York would be pretty ace, since I live there and all.

If someone else wants to step in and either coordinate with myself to select a different location, or just take over, they may. I just want us to take into account people's location. I really don't much care where it is, but i'd like as many people as possible to travel easily. (thus the asking for locations)
