Mafia Score Rating by players

Your score rating is your total score divided by amount of wins in Mafia games.

For example, my current rating is: 2816 Points / 113 Wins = 24,9 rating points.

Here is a rating of few other players that have more than 500 points:

lykkekage: 20,5

The lower is the rating number, the greater your rating is.

Well, I'm quite disappointed with my current results compared to other people, but It can't be helped. NightDragon, on the other hand, has very impressive results, but that may also be because he tends to leave games early if he is not winning then, thus not earning points for losing games. I, on the the other hand, tend to watch Mafia games until the end.

The points were saved before the victories, so a lot of people (like me) started with a lot of points and 0 victories.

Note that people that are bad at town but good at SK have lower ratio then those that are good at town and bad at SK, so that doesn't make a lot of sense.

That said I'm "noobing" at 29.5 even though town is my strength and I leave when I lost/die early, herp derp.

Leaving games makes this stat complete garbage.

I could leave every game I don't win and have an awesome ratio, or I could sit around and suck up those loses in the point column. Neither actually shows anything about the game, only whether you like to leave or stay.

There's a hidden stat for overall games started and another for games finished, you know.

Not to mention your ratio would be fucked if you played roulette often. You can win or lose hundreds of points in one game of roulette.

This rating system does not rate players skill or success levels in any ways.

Some people had many points before win tracking even started.
Some people leave games when they lose and others stay in games when they lose.
Some people play with friends or in private games while others play primarily pubs.
Russian Roulette can have drastic effects on points.
Factions, roles and the people involved affect a players chances of winning including a fair amount of luck.
Setups have a large effect on win rates.
This is a team game so individual results are hard to measure.

Yeah, this score doesn't really indicate anything.

What if a person just happens to be roles that give more points? By winning often as the "good" roles, he'll actually appear as a worse player because his points will go up much faster than his wins.

A major flaw with this rating is that some of us gained a majority of our points before the win system was ever implemented.
