Re: M-FM XVIII - The Curse of Castle Varen

In no particular order of "towniest" (Please, it's Day One. I don't have nearly enough to go on to clearly rank everyone on a list from town to scum.) Here are the people that I'm leaning towards Town on.

    Rashid
    Roland Chang
    Ace Chapman
    Sidney Huffman
    Dr Jordan Edilstein
    Lestat de Lioncourt
    Charles Bronson

Honestly besides that, I don't really have reads on anyone besides Tommy Calhoun.

Seriously dude, you muted Sidney? Deliberately excluding people from discussion can only hurt town. Muting someone is inexcusable.

I'd like to hear more from people I didn't list. I'd also like to hear more from Edilstein.

I gotta go eat dinner now. When I come back, I may have some more to say on who I think I scummy.

Role claim. And maybe we won't need to kill you. I remember games where people just hand picked out all the scums. Wish we had someone like that this game...

    Professor Baxter
    Laura Vanderbooben (ish)
    Charles Bronson
    Uncle Kappy

    Elisha Wilkner

    Scum:
    Pete Pendelman
    Martin Sugar
    Sgt. Pepper
    Tom Calhoun

    Sholanda Dykes
    Sidney Huffman
    Demitri Krotchlikmioff
    Tom Yabo
    Ricky Spanish
    Rashid
    Max Jets

Btw: this list was complied from players situation in the roles list, not their amount of towness/scumminess. Also, since there isn't a lot of things to go off of, I complied this from players attitudes towards other players and the game itself. I think we should start focusing on Pete. He has a bad attitude and isn't providing much and is kind of mean.

I muted him well over one day into the game, after noticing that not a single one of his posts was worth reading. I'd rather have my daychat a bit cleaner so I can focus on important matters rather than wasting time reading his rants and "no, fuck u" replies.

I don't see how that can hurt town. Plus it's not like I incited others to do the same, so I don't understand the thought process that lead you to believe that a personal choice of mine regarding the forum settings can in anyway affect the rest of us.

you started the lynch train against me again. lynch me would silence me from everyone's chat.

Re: M-FM XVIII - The Curse of Castle Varen

    Ace Chapman
I would sort him as townish. His posts seem rather careful and buddy-buddy with many people, but since he does it with many people it doesn't seem to be of scummy nature. I would put him between undecided and town.

    Laura Vanderbooben
Rather town because he brings up good points and questions which gain much insight, valuable to town.

    Sidney Huffman
I put him as undecided because he is hiding his powerlevel and I would guess that he is also trying to hide his COM. Only the future days will show how he is aligned. I except useful reads from him later in the game. If not then throw him into the lion cage.

    Dr Jordan Edilstein
Undecided. I need more posts from him to decide.

    Charles Bronson
Not sure what kind of alignment he has right now, it could be either.

    Tommy Calhoun
Too pushy. Too focused. I don't really like it.

    Roland Chang
I have given my reasoning for that earlier, his reads feel off to me.

Everyone else is hard for me to decide because they have either not posted enough or their posts aren't giving me any insight to their alignment so I would sort them to "Unknown".
I just listed the IMO more important people.

    Feel free to disagree.

If the mafia team has a janitor and a tailor visiting the same target what happens?

FYI: A Tailor is an incredible weak mafia role because he doesn't clean last wills. So if you fear that this highly underpowered mafia role is in play i suggest writing a proper last will with your ROLE in it.

Maybe you understand now where those A+ are comming from.

No, if the target is cleaned, the town will only be notified that no last will was found.

Also i am quite sure that Elisha is a neutral who has to be lynched to win the game.

    Everything points into that direction.

    - tries to disrupt the game flow with sketchy thoughts. Starts to dick around with other players.

    - points me down as scum player, because i have him on my scum list. Ignores all other points i have stated. Seems like an early setup for a Jester/ghost so he can be backtracked later on as possible scum when
    i flip town.

    - His notes lack serious analysis. It seems he just copied things together from others.

    - His CoM.

Less posts for me to catch up with today, I see.
The major point of discussion seems to be reads on the other players, so here are mine.

    People I think are town:
    Ace Chapman
    Tommy Calhoun
    Charles Bronson
    Elisha Wilkner
    Rashid
    Laura Vanderbooben
    Lestat de Lioncourt

People I think are behaving scummily:
    Sidney Huffman
    Pete Pendleman

People I'd like to hear more from:
    Dimitri Krotchlikmioff
    Uncle Kappy
    Martin Sugar
    Tom Yabo
    Max Jets
    Sholanda Dykes

As for the other players, Roland seems weirdly certain of his opinions, and I'm not sure why, which makes him hard to read. Dr Jordan Edlistien and Ricky Spanish I'm just not sure about.

Demitri, we had no proof on anybody other than their post count/content. It'd he hypocritical of us to point out Pepper/Sidney and not you. So, on that note:

Can we get your thoughts on the game at large? (Player analysis, list of player alignments, etc)

This renders a tailor utterly useless. It would have been more interesting if the Janitor loses a charge cleans the last will. While the Tailor gives him a new role. It's basicly the only way i see it working in this scenario.

By saying this, if you somehow aren't scum, you will likely die from them in an attempt for them to frame me.

Also why would I want to kill you?

You play no better than any pubbie would.

Even if I wasn't invited to reply:
Spam and trolling affect day chat: disrupt communication and makes it harder to read the thread. That only benefits scum.
Now, there's also the fact that you've contributed nothing at all.

You're on the same list as Sidney: Either scum or a townie who is doing nothing but harm the town with dumb replies with no content.

Protip: Posting troll replies and spamming is more scummy than not posting at all.

Your posting behaviour is what I understand as 'active lurking', that is to say, posting a lot without really trying to contribute. That behaviour is usually a scumtell, in what little experience I have.
