Not all games support 8. I'd go with 7.

Still running xp 32 :-p. Some of my hardware is not compatible with 7 which is a shame otherwise i would run 7. 8 is garbage.

Windows 8 is faster. I still use Windows 7 though because Windows 8 is fucking terrible, even after all that shit to bring back the start button.

All I can say to this is....install Classic Shell.... I've used it to bring back my Windows XP feel I love so much.

I'd say windows 7. They've also removed some tools in windows 8 (most importantly, safe mode). The new secure boot makes it pretty much impossible to fix a windows 8 computer.

for the most part there is no difference in performance, but some games like borderlands 2 simply wont play on windows8 at all

It's fast, really fast, I mean WD40 fast.

Gaming performance's the same, but it's a smoother than Vista and 7 were.
