I think a large part of the reason why the mafia night chat had so much disagreement was because each person's action affects everyone else's action to a larger extent than usual, so you have people proposing synergistic actions for several teammates. Factor in each player proposing conflicting synergistic actions that they feel strongly about, and it makes for a pretty messy night chat.
That's true, I suppose. In CP9 the only thing we really did as a team was fake the electromaniac on day one using the drug and your vented account. And I found the godfather early, so half of our actions were kills and the other half were pretty easy to plan, since you would vent the same person until death. The DD was probably the most challenging and I flet like we never quite knew what to do with it, though I did like how we used it to communicate with the mafia that one time after Sanji claimed escort.

In this FM we definitely gained far more benefit from synchronizing the use of our abilities.
