Say what you will, but there are times when being clever and having a good strategy has no effect on the outcome; sometimes it's all matter of luck.

I played this troll save with SIX scum roles: 3 mafia, 3 neutral killing.
Town is screwed, right? Well, at the end, only two townies died.

May have been a bit different, but it was something like this:

n1: Mafia kills town. No neutral kills.
n2: SK kills town. No mafia kills.
n3: Arson kills two mafia and SK (which made it obvious that there were more arsons).
d4: Sheriff finds the arson. People don't listen to him.
n4: Mafia kills town. Vig shoots one arson.
d5: Other invest confirms arson. Arson is lynched. Sheriff finds mafia.
n5: mafia is roleblocked.
d5: Last mafia is lynched.



So yeah, sometimes luck decides the outcome of a game.

Edit: Yes. Three dead townies, and actually, there were no kills n1 and two kills n2. Still, three dead townies with 3 mafia + 3 neutral killers is absurd.
