Yeah. I do not find it hard to believe, as no other neutrals had really shown themselves. Just sad that he was able to get out of the little Soma episode, and even sadder that he got me lynched of course.

So why was Earle lynched? Just because people did not believe he was replaced?

Everyone knew he was a (Corrupt) Journalist, so why waste a lynch on him? He did not have a night action that could cause Town harm, and lynching anyone else would have been a possible Mafia/Savage.

I don't blame them. I knew he was a corrupt journalist, but I thought the savages might have thought he was town and tried to recruit him, but ended up with a regular savage. So I'm not surprised that he started as a corrupt journalist, but I am a bit surprised that he is still a corrupt journalist.

If Savages had even thought about it a little, they would know he was at least a Journalist. So yeah they could have recruited him, but maybe it does not work like this when he is a Corrupt Journalist?

Well he initially claimed journalist to get you lynched. I figured after that they believed him and were going to recruit him. So when there was no interview one night, I assumed that was the reason. But I guess he just decided to troll and not do an interview that night.

But seriously. This did not surprise me at all. I told everyone several times there was no amnesiac or student for sure which already narrowed the benigns down. And this is something most people wouldn't expect, so I figured clem would do it. Especially since she had already thrown in two escorts and two drug dealers. If it wouldn't have been completely imbalanced, I bet she'd have thrown in a second SGF too!

I think students are really swingy and the corrupt journalists can already turn into jesters due to blackmail interactions. I think in this specific setup it's more interesting to have the corrupt journalists since there is a ton of potential for a savage journalist or for the savages to recruit the corrupt journalist thinking he is a regular journalist especially after seeing the first one flip corrupt...

There are many more ways that 2 corrupt journalists are more interesting (and balanced) in this setup than any other epsilon combinations.

i started the lynch on earle for a few reasons
1) most of town had just stupidly sheeped galloways lynch on green, it was the only way i could derail another town lynch
2) to see who would vote on him and who wouldnt. this is what led me to know kalou was scum, unfortunately we werent able to get kalou lynched that day
3) earle and ryan formed a neutral voting block that would gain power as numbers dwindled. i would have preferred ryan to go first, but that wasnt possible at the time as it would require all of town and some scum voting him.

i was right about you fontaine and rose. only mistake i made was thinking rose was the sgf. even without a mason enforcer you werent able to make good conversion choices. you just lurked. so keep patting yourself on the back saying you were protown, the rest of the players know you are bush league.

and me hunting mafia, from a town perspective, its was better to eliminate the kpn. we had no leads on the savages. just guesswork.
