    Cool Allow dead players to move around like ghosts

    Instead of removing dead players from the map, why not instead have them become ghosts? Living players cannot be given the ability to move, for this may allow them to delay trials. But what about dead players?

    If you scared that dead players might somehow communicate with the living by doing charades or some shit, why not have them become invisible except to other dead players? That way, living players just see shimmers or some shit while all the dead guys have ally vision.

    Listen to Nick you must....
    Just play on full window mode and surf or do somthing else until your precious points roll in. I don't see how a "ghost" feature would make the game any better. It seems like extra work for nothing.

    I never understood why players care if dead players stay. If you want players to stay until the end, give them a legitimate reason to do so, such as a new game starting, don't rely on points and mini-games as much.

    Ability: see the dead people walking around
    Special Attributes: dead people now walk around but are invisible. The Medium can see them and may attempt to understand their movements.
    Options:
    Only the most recent dead may 'communicate' [x]

    Shakespeare added ghosts to many of his plays, including Hamlet, Macbeth, Julius Caesar, etc. and those plays were better because of this. I have no doubt the addition of ghosts would likewise improve SC2Mafia.

    If you are being serious my answer is: This will not be implemented because of the lack of game improvements and the ability to increase cheating with the whole shimmers buisness.

    I don't think I've ever seen so many people misunderstand an idea being proposed as in this thread.

    The idea is that the living players cannot see the dead ghosts. Not that they're "cloaked" SC2 style. There is 0 interaction between living and dead players.

    I still don't think it's a good idea, but at least try to understand the idea instead of just making up things about it and saying "no" for that reason.

    Better idea IMO would be to make the "Graveyard" a physical location on the map, visible at night during camera pans. Transparent ghosts of the dead players could be seen there.

    The game uses sc2 engine to run, and uses sc2 models. A cloaked unit is still visible if looked at closely.

    Then don't cloak it. Just change what each player sees.

    Though the amount of coding required for this is probably hardly worth the effort...
