I agree on this, this make jester more terrible....but it is not that necessary though.
Only investigator can know exactly who is jester, and you make jester can fool investigator too.

i disagree, a jesters power is with his words, not his default abilities.
nobody calls out a jester because hes already ns to sheriff, and new investigative grouping has jester tied with arsonist, which is a total win for jester, (just go silent, town would do the rest if called out by invest)
giving jester detection immunity wouldnt help the jester at all. if you wanted to help the jester you would give him something that makes him turn up evil/scum to investigative roles, not detection immunity.
reading your post made me think... and yeah just a random idea that isn't good... but it could be good with some work maybe...
if Jester annoy the Sheriff that is checking him... maybe it'll make him show as something other then NS?
it would be interesting because every time a Sheriff is annoyed AND find a scum... he has to wonder if it was the Jester or really a scum and he just happened to be annoyed ^^;

i think the jester and arson got buffed by having invest pair for them. it doesnt need this 'immune tondetection'

I suggested this when jester was paired with gf/mason leader/mayor and in light of the new pairing this thread no longer reflects my original intention. Please close it.
I think Jester should be able to choose who should suicide the following night.
When Jester dies, he doesn't go to graveyard. Instead he got until the next night ends (or till when he clicks), to click a player that should feel grief and suicide.
This way the game not only is less random, and might be more fun as well (and easier for Jester to get the Jester Wins Achievement, to specifically target the mafia killer last night)
At least make it an option.
