    Disagree.
    It isn't guessing. It is prediction. Protective roles like Doctor, Bodyguard, Bus Driver, and Escort are so often not impact-full at all. This is due to the majority of people's inability to properly predict who to target. The majority of people just want to point click and win. However, when you get someone that is capable of doing this and can manage up a n1 Bodyguard save, or 2-3 Doctor saves, or just shut down a GF (should Escort be able to block him), or run over some people with a bus, then you get to see how helpful roles are that keep others alive and how much of a swing a single night save is. Add in the addition of another Cultist and the game has gone from A to Z in a single night and isn't at all what anyone thought it was going into that night.
    If you think you are 'guessing' that is your first problem. Learn how to predict and you can not only enjoy the role but get a convert every possible night.

    Ya but 80% of the time killers are just choosing random targets, especially scum killers

    You might be able to nab a few recruits off of a vigilante kill or investigator reveal or something

    I really hope witchdoctor can turn mafia into cultist if bodyguard, arsonist, vigi or etc killed the mafia... Then no one will know there is a -1 mafia!

    but in the end you still end up losing due to you being alone and having no cultists. isnt that the cultist job, to get more cultists? i mean if i was in a cult i wouldn't want to die alone. with only being able to convert upon a save and having limited saves that kinda defeats the porpose of cultist. they sould make it to where you can still convert but if you choose you have the option to save someone.

    No they shouldn't. Witch Doctor is a Cult Power Role. He operates separate to the normal conversion and gains them
    1: Healing ability.
    2: Recruits beyond what is normally possible.
    His job is to get extra converts quicker, and allow for limited defense.
    He is limited in how available he is to do that because if he wasn't it would be a Cult win every game. This is a weapon that becomes game winning if the people can use it right. Learn to use it.

    And Doctor doesn't have the voting block and confirmed allies.
    He gives the Cult Power by making a Cult. The charges are used when successful, so if he fails he keeps them.

    one way so far is blow a doctor's cover, and then heal him.

    I think that's where the logic comes in... you have to use what town says and go for the people that will "most likely" be attacked. For example, you can always heal an outted sheriff to prevent mafia attack. Easy conversion. Another easy thing to do is guess whether or not the mafia will attack the town doctor. If they do, you will gain another witch doctor which gives more slots to the cult.

    the Witch Doctor is not a Cult Leader...

    the Witch Doctor is a bonus that you can be lucky to get if you convert a Doctor (and the option is enabled)

    starting the game with only a Witch Doctor would be a bad game start if you want a good Cult game... make it a normal Cultist and enabled the Doctor's option

    if you are only complaining because you want a Witch Doctor win... then make a setup that start with a Cultist AND a Witch Doctor

    We've this entire Wiki that is a vat of all sorts of knowledge that nobody knows about.
    Everyone, instead, wants to make useless assumptions about things and lose, so not our problem.
