I know, there was a suggest to a "Mercenary" role, but my is different, and i think is a bit different from contract killer/hitman
Mercenary
Description: "You are war veteran who sells his services to other organizations"
Align: Neutral(depends on that, what group hire him)
Abilities:
1.You are invulnerable until any of the groups hire you(you are only be killed by Arsonist or Serial Killer)
In start of the game, mercenary doesn't have any aligment only neutral, but he gets automatically alignment of that group, who first visited him in the night, except Serial Killers, Witches and Arsonists(if first person who visit him in night have a killing role like arsonist or sk, he dont have invulnerable ability and he will be killed). Even its a killer role like mafioso or vigilante - he didnt kill him but he take's him to his organization(Mafioso went to kill Mercenary, then they dont kill him but, hire him, mercenary is just like mafioso, he make orders of Godfather, but after dead of gf, ofc he can kill like just mafioso. A similar case is with Vigilante - he didnt kill him but hire to Town group)
Even a not-killing role's can hire Mercenary to a group. Example: Sheriff/Investigator invest a Mercenary, then they hire Mercenary to town group
After hire, mercenary LOST HIS NIGHT INVULNERABLE
If Mercenary belongs to mafia group, he dont have shoots. But if he belongs to other groups(Like Towns,masons,cultists) he have 1(he must be weaker than vigilante) shot from sniper rifle. Hit's can be also used before hired.
1.Town visit Mercenary at night - He becomes a member of Towny Group, and he can shoots the target
2.Mafioso visit mercenary at night - he becomes a member of Mafia group, he is just like mafioso, he must listen to a gf, but still he have a role of Mercenary, he doesn't have his sniper rifle shot.
3.If Mason Leader visit him in night - He will be recruited to masons, but he are still a role "Mercenary", but can talk with other masons, and can shot the targets
4.If Cultist visit him in night - He will be recruited to society of the cultist but he are still will be "Mercenary". But can talk with other cultist in night and shoot the targets
2.You can kill 1 target in night if you are not belongs to mafia
Special Abilities:
1.You have X shots left(Set in options)
(Special abilities from alignments cultist,mafia or masons)
2.You can talk with other masons in night
3.You can talk with cultist in night
4.You can talk with mafia in night, and listen to orders of godfather
Goal:
(if by some miracle, the mercenary will not be visited at night by those groups, he just have this same goal as survivor)
If he is visited from alignment of Town, mafia, cultist, and masons(This is an exception, Masons belongs to town but he can also be recruited to the Masons by Mason leader) he take's goal of this alignment.
With that role, masons and cultist got a powerfull(but i dont thinks that he is op) ally, and of course, not only them.

Message from Investigation of Sheriff: (If he belongs to town, or masons, or he isn't hire yet) - Your target isnt suspicious, (if belongs to mafia) - Your target belongs to mafia (If options are set that sheriff can find a cultists) - Your target is a member of a cult.
Host Options:
1.Invulnerable before hire - ON/OFF
2.Serial killers and arsonist ingore his immune - ON/OFF
3.Mercenary have X Shots - 1/2
