Re: Day 3: End of the Brig

Urouge came on much quicker on day 1 and 2 so he's not keeping with his usual times.

Looking back through your posts you have a preference towards CP9, mentioning them much more than you do pirates, even though pirates have had a much bigger effect on discussion.

You also have two classic scum tells: you focus on lurkers, spending at least a third of your posts talking to or about them and you offer to hammer someone probably to get town cred if they flip scum.
I don't think he's town because all he does is sit on the sidelines and not get involved. He might be the last marine with his vigilante hint but I think it's unlikely the marines would have both a jailor and a vigi.

If Zoro can't give his interview target (why wouldn't his interview target counter claim Urouge?) he is probably a jester or executioner. If he's not the journalist his tunnel vision has been illogical and anti-town as counter-claiming journalist as a citizen distracts town from actual scum and could cause a mis-lynch.

Also nothing happened to me last night.

My opinion on Bonney is lowering, Zoro's journalist claim and the fact he cancelled his vote randomly on Franky giving no reason other than that he is Town confuses me, also not revealing who the person interviewed until late was BS. Yet with a possible Jester in play I am not sure I would be willing to lynch him or Zoro, Zoro claiming he will wait for him to be able to Rebel kill makes me read him as Town slightly better. That, or an Enforcer trying to find a real Rebel for a possible communication with a CP9 after.

Urouge seems scum, even the Journalist CC claims he is, and given the quality of yesterdays article, and his new absence after he was revealed to have written it I believe that he is scum.

Hm, the posts are interesting. Zoro's defense is not enough to make him appear like a citizen, so he is on my scum list for now. Of course that changes if one of the claimed Rebels flip non-Rebel.

For now, here is my code: WBSNTENSPHGFF

I will be at school again soon so with some luck I will be back in two hours.

Re: Day 3: End of the Brig

First of all, i have to apologize for not posting until now. I currently have no PC due to various circumstances so i have to make due with a borrowed laptop for the time being.

Seeing how everybody brainlessly sheeps onto the lynch train started by one of the people with the highest degree of scumminess, who also posted a whole lot of shit in his so called "reasoning". The clues he mentioned aren´t even clues for the most part, just assumptions that are mostly irrelevant, given that Bonney really is the journalist. In case you haven´t noticed, i had not mentioned the people on my list on the interview as scum, just that they should be paid more attention to. I have never regarded Boa as scum. As in her and my case i mentioned us as the people who should be listened to, besides Mihawk whom i value as the most intelligent town member. The phrasing is important, although the contents are vague and irrefutably lacking. Zoro does not even consider possible different meanings of the text in it´s entirety or even minute details. He picks certain parts of sentences trying to form a different statement, thus defying the original intent of the writer. In my eyes he is the biggest possible scum at this point.

    -vote FM Roronoa Zoro

And before you jump to any conclusions, the reason i didn´t give my role was in case i had to affirm Bonney´s role i would not be a vulnerable target and revealed day 2.
    I claim Bus Driver.

I will now write the in-depth analysis of the factions playstyles as promised. This will help us find actual scum, but Zoro is already a given dead man in my eyes.

    Note: Targets for the nights
    Night 1 - Jimbei / Mihawk ; Night 2 - Jimbei / Basil
Reasons for driving: lurker / most likely town/citizen and highest intelligent quotient
lurker / unCC-d doctor claim. Basil was likely to be attacked by scum if he was actually the doctor.

Re: Day 3: End of the Brig

    Going the role/faction list order:

    Pirates

Given that the pirates want to eliminate the Islanders and the Marines, they will try to secure the cooperation of both the CP9 and the Rebels. In order to do this they will most likely hint at he possibilities of the Marines being an accountable threat to the islanders, possibly suggest lynching them in order to secure the alliance between Islanders and Rebels. They will also be more than likely pro-Rebels anti-Marines in day chat. Likely claims are doctor and citizen for these people.

    CP9

The CP9 are first and foremost scared by the potential Rebels Islanders alliance. They will act anti-Rebels pro-Marines, which can be found in their opening day speeches. Note here, that due to the weakening of the Marines faction they might also try and make themselves appear as pro-Rebel after this day. Every person who exhibited a negative attitude towards the Rebels on Day 1.5 and Day 2, who has suddenly changed his mind today is a good candidate for being a CP9.

    Rebels

    Marines

    Islanders

    Jester

The eternal question of the jester is simple: How do i get myselfed lynched? There have been a lot of varying Jester plays, but the most notable ones are the hardest to pull off. There are obvious candidates for being the jester, most of which turn out to be Citizens. Later into the game we may encounter a scum trying to act like a jester, or if he is more skilled at it, he could try to use reverse psychology in order to trick people into thinking that he is jester precisely because he tries to act like he is not the jester. There is also the possibility of the inact

Oh I see. I did notice that it looked uncomplete. Nonetheless, I think your Jester analysis is spot on, we have to be careful of an advanced Jester player.

Pirate and CP9 analysis are also pretty good since they both have points I agree with.

That's a good question, I didn't think of that. Suspicion is back. I just wonder: Jimbei hasn't posted yet, did s/he? Because otherwise that would be a dangerous claim/guess which would expose his lie.

For your second question: It's probably true that he didn't notice that he was able to write an article, so he likely didn't think of that. Still lets us wonder why he missed it.

Pretty sure it's too late for Urouge even if he has a good explanation. 50 minutes to go and he needs 5 unvotes not to get lynched.

I don't know why they targetted me since I'm not the one that stand out of the bunch.
The fact that there was not douse or charge last night when I was blocked is a pure coincidence.
In my defense about that, I think that the douse/charge went on a dead guys and the drug dealer annoyed someone.

I think I was blocked because I said that I was town, without claiming any role. Thus, maybe the roleblocker though that I was a PR and blocked me to see wath happen.

The heavily voted FM Urouge claims Bus Driver, but his claim is weak so we need to know more. The problem is that most of the voters are offline so he will get hammered as soon as the 24 hours mark passes, because the votes needed go from 75% to 50% of the playerbase and Urouge can't defend himself properly.

Re: Day 3: End of the Brig

The Day 3 has ended. Despite his pleas to spare him, Urouge was lynched by large majority of the villagers who did not want to hear any more words from him. He then was publicly hanged on the town square. Is their bloothirst sated now? Can they finally take a good sleep tonight?

Urouge's role was Framer. He was actually one of the Pirates!

You can now submit your night actions to me. Make sure to send then 1 hour before the deadline. If night chats are still locked, wait for Raptorblaze to unlock then for you. Note that Night 3 is going to last 24 hours intead of the usual 48 hours. Still, I'm sure that you will be able to make your night actions in a given time, but if you don't, I'll extend the night if nessesary.

Night 3 normally should end at this time.
