Nope, because there is always those Starcraft 2 DOTA maps like Hero Attack, Star Battle and Storm of the Imperial something (I don't play Storm lol).

League of Legends pissed me off because in the higher level games it becomes a war of attrition, where whichever side loses patience first loses the game. The fun ends there. LoL is fun in the lower levels, where players still fight more directly and less with ambushes and hiding. I hate hide and seek, I didn't sign up for that.

I'l check this HoN thing out, if there aren't stupid bushes that hide you the instant you enter them like in LoL then i'm game.

I've played LoL for about a year and a half now, and I played HoN during closed beta, and have begun to pick it back up. I like both of them for their own reasons, but I'm not interested in fanboy squabbles either so it's really never been an issue for me.

However it's <img src="https://img6.imageshack.us/img6/5778/...t;</img> that when a door closes, a window opens, and that's EGGS-ACTLY what happened. Immediately after I made the announcement, I was contacted by S2Games, the folks behind the Savage games, and more recently, Heroes of Newerth. I was a huge supporter of Savage back in the day, and I've stayed in touch with the guys at S2 periodically since then. They dropped me a line to let me know that they were impressed with the support you guys showed for Operation Spider <img src="https://img220.imageshack.us/img220/7...rkww0.gif">.

They also really liked the idea, and offered to flat-out put the Spider <img src="https://img220.imageshack.us/img220/7...rkww0.gif"> in Heroes of Newerth as a playable hero.

The Spider <img src="https://img220.imageshack.us/img220/7...rkww0.gif"> was my jumping off point for a campaign whose goal was ultimately to let you guys submit hero ideas to me, my favorite of which I'd sketch up into concept art and then we'd all vote for the best ones. S2Games is on board with that as well, so that's what we're going to do!

I've been dying to announce this contest for the past month, but we waited because as of today Heroes of Newerth has gone free to play. I'm not going to open up Hero submissions until Monday. That means that you can take the weekend to check out Heroes of Newerth, brainstorm your idea for a Hero and get ready to submit it on Monday.

I'm Highleveled in both games... level 30 in LoL....... I like being level 30 because you get more challenging people which will train you to become stronger... Hmm actually I am not trying to get Dota 2.. I'm sticking with HoN and LoL... but if does seem nice maybe I'll play 3 now so overwhelming especially with mafia as well.. I just wanted this picture on me cause it was naked and nothing on it

What extactly are you talking about? Only thing I can think of is magma chamber taking a huge amount of time.

If LoL fixes the bushes, changing them to work like Evenlynn's invis skill, 3 sec to vanish and delayed by attacks, then they can have me back. Otherwise screw LoL.

Zack I understand where your coming from zack, but thats DEFINITELY overdoing it. I'd go for 1-2 seconds no delay from attacks.

Delay from attacks is a must have. 1-2 secs instead of 3 ok, but delay required. Only champs that can become invis should vanish into bushes and thats IF they use their invis skill as they enter. That instant-invis in the bush is my biggest issue with LoL, and I won't play again until they fix that bullshit.

i play lol,.... Bushes are fine, why do you want to change them? its not like both ems cant use them to their advantage equally well

Not sure how far up you are in the ELO on LoL, but the higher you go, the more matches become ugly wars of attrition where the teams farm and lay in ambush far more than pushing, because whichever team tries to push gets destroyed near the tower by the other team laying in ambush in bushes. It gets so ugly, that the entire 5-person team hide in a single tiny bush for one unsuspecting member of the opposing team seeking to farm a creep in the jungle.

In my opinion the bushes need to be removed altogether, but i'l settle for giving them a giant nerfbat to the face.

He's talking about the part where they released screenshots of Magma Chamber in September saying it was coming very soon(within the next month), and it never did. And then they basically admitted to putting it on the backburner like 8 months later.

Meh nvm.... I've realized that any change like this would NOT be a good thing. Brushes are already intergrated into the game pretty much. However Magma chamber doesn't sound like a place with vegetation.

Well, they could add new 5v5 and 3v3 maps without bushes and players will choose which one to join the queue on. If Magma Chamber is that, well then, what are they waiting for?

Speaking of which they announced a new map. It will a node map, think arathi basin kinda deal for those of you who have played WoW. Players will start at lvl 3.

In even higher elo, you learn not to go solo in the jungle (even in HoN) late game and use wards so you know where the other team is.

bush juking is one of the most glorious part of the game, no thanks. Also it helps melee champions from getting zoned endlessly by ranged in lane.

also CV is on like a 30 second cooldown with utility masteries and is ideal for bushchecking. also wards help a lot for knowing where people are. also not going into the jungle alone when the entire enemy team is mia is generally a good idea. also most champions have at least one way to gain visibility into a bush without walking face first into it. also you can ward around baron and go ahead and take it if the enemy team is really jerking it in the forest for that long. lots of things you can do

I play LoL on occasion with friends. Add fernsauce if you want a game, I suppose. I would be moving over to DotA 2, but Valve apparently thinks it can't be improved in any way over the original DotA (i'm talking gameplay wise, by the way), which is a truly disgusting idea in and of itself.
