Dogs enjoy physical activity and tussling more than a cat does, but cats have a strong cuteness factor. I'd like a huge golden retriever someday.

Miles enjoys a tennis ball, and sometimes if he's in an energetic mood he'll chase it if I throw it past him. Or sometimes he likes to play chase, he'll just bound down the stairs and I'll start running at him and he'll dash up the stairs. I read that cats sometimes run/chase things for no reason other than they need to release energy.
