Jon Snow will live. Brienne didn't die when she was being hanged, and she didn't have a mage on her side. So yeah I think most fans agree Melisandre will save him, but at a great cost. You know how Stannis looked like his face was just a skull with flesh on it? There's theories that he had to make a personal sacrifice to have Renly Barratheon killed, OR to be able to see into the flames.

When Mance Rayder was being burned alive, Melisandre was thankful that Jon had his men end his suffering, because the ruby necklace was burning firey hot and was agonizing for her. Also, it's alluded that Melisandre had to make a personal sacrifice of her own health to swap the bodies and souls of Mance Rayder and Rattleshirt.

My favorite part related to Jon Snow: when Robb Stark tells Catelyn that he's going to name Jon Snow the heir to Winterfell, and she's like "OMFG NO!!! HE'S A DIRTY BASTARD, AND I HATE HIM!!!"
