    Special Mechanics:
    1. Players do not receive night result PMs. Instead, everything that would be included in the PM is posted, in random order, at the start of each day. The host is too lazy to actually send night PMs! (each player's intended 'PM' is posted together)

    Your target was a member of the mafia, but you were witched last night.

    You took no action.

    You were roleblocked!

    Your action was successful.

    Your action was successful.

    In this case, the town consists of a sheriff, a consort, a vigilante, a doctor, and a witch.
    Edit: The exception to this is blackmail. You will be PM'd if you are blackmail and told not to post that day.
    2. Two of the role PMs have been sent to the wrong players! One citizen, should he PM the host "-target [Player]," will use his action on that player. One town PR, if he is the one who received the wrong role PM, actually has no action. (Essentially, one PR and one Citizen have the correct role, but received the incorrect PM. The REAL PR, told he is a citizen, still has a night action.) Jailor, Bus Driver, and Journalist are excluded.
    Spoiler : Example: :

    Let's say Player A is a sheriff, and Player B is a citizen.
    Player A will be told that they are a Citizen. Player B will be told that they are a sheriff.
    If player B sends in a night action, a "You do not have a night action." result will appear in the day post as a night result.
    If player A sends in a PM a la "-target [player]," they will investigate that player, and the result will be in the day post.

    If player A just sent in a bunch of different night actions, I'd either ignore him or just take the first one.
    This is a way I came up with to encourage Citizens to be active, as they may actually have a night action. Also, the WIFOM of trying to figure out what role you actually are!


    3. There are a lot of bastardizations in the roles. There are the obvious sheriff ones, but a lookout may randomly turn into a detective and whatever else I dream up!

    4. Day is subject to being extended at any time.

    5. Day events may occur. One event that comes to mind is that (players can vote if they want it) everyone WILL receive their results PM, but one random town role will be bastardized or change their bastardization.

    6. Means of death in the RP (i.e. "Was burned to Death") will not be related to the killer, but each death message will be unique to that faction. (I have ideas for messages, but anyone with a killing ability may request the means of death.

    Boring rules:
    Game Starts on day 0. No lynch.
    Assume day lasts 24 hours and nights last 24.
    Submit all night actions 1 hour before deadline.
    We're using [vote] tags.
    Do whatever you want with your posts. Except edit. Or gamethrow. I'm not okay with that. You dick.
    Everyone who makes it into the game will receive a role.
    You may write last wills.
    This is your question color.
    This is my color.

    Is in charge of the Mafia.
    Can kill at night.
    Has one-shot bulletproof vest.

    Consigliere
    Checks one person each night.
    Replaces the Godfather.

    Blackmailer
    Target a player. They are not allowed to post the next day, except to make ONE vote.

    Consort
    Roleblock. Can't be roleblocked.

    Drug Dealer
    Drug someone. Options include attacked and healed, roleblocked, bussed, witched, annoyed, attacked but immune, and blackmailed

    Framer
    Frame someone to appear as a role of your choosing to Sheriffs and Investigators.

    Janitor
    Target someone. If they die that night, their role and last will are cleaned and their cause of death is not revealed.

    Mafioso
    You're actually pretty damn useless. You can be sent for the kill. If the Consig replaces the Godfather, you replace him. Because why not.

    Serial Killer
    Kill people. Nothing special.
    1-shot auto-bulletproof vest.
    When everyone is dead, you win. You may spare the benign neutral.

    Arsonist
    Step one: Douse targets.
    Step two: Burn all previous doused targets. (This cannot be done on the same night as step one.)
    Step four: Profit.
    Oh, and you're 1-shot auto-bulletproof.
    When everyone is dead, you win. You may spare the benign neutral.

    Spree Killer
    Camp out at somebody's house. You can't camp out at your house. If you try, you'll just kinda fall asleep. Kill everyone who shows up. Like a dick.
    Not bulletproof.
    When everyone is dead, you win. You may spare the benign neutral.

    Electro Maniac
    I believe that you're the one role who has never won an FM before. Have fun!
    You may electrically charge someone each night. If one charged person visits another, both die.
    1-shot auto-bulletproof for pity.
    When everyone is dead, you win. You may spare the benign neutral.

    Witch
    Witch someone to visit someone else. Targets are notified of witching.
    You win when the town loses. (If you end up winning alone, I'll probably give you MVP.

    Cubone, the Jester
    You are the reincarnation of FMXV's jester, Cubone. You may annoy someone at night. If you get lynched, you win and may pick someone to kill.

    Executioner
    You hate [player]. Your goal is to get him killed by lynch. Target is not mafia.

    Student
    Once per ever, you may pick a mentor. You and your mentor gain a night chat. If your mentor dies, you become his role.

    Survivor
    Survive. You can use 3 bulletproof vests throughout the game.

    Amnesiac
    You may pick a dead role in the graveyard and become that role. The role is revealed in the results PM.

    Sheriff
    Check one person each night. You will see "Not suspicious," "Mafia," or "Neutral killer." Godfather and Benign Neutral are Not suspicious.

    Doctor
    Heal 1 person each night. One kill on that target will be blocked.

    Lookout
    You see everyone who visits your target.

    Investigator
    Check one person each night and discover a clue as to their role.

    Detective
    See whoever your target visits.

    Bus Driver
    Switch two players, redirecting ALL night actions from one to the other.
    Because the mod is too lazy to consider complex OoO stuff involving this guy, he is immune to roleblock.

    Vigilante
    Kill your target. 3 shots.

    Veteran
    You may choose to alert, killing everyone who visits you. 3 alerts. Does not pierce immunity.

    Jailor
    During the DAY, you may PM me to jail one person. You speak anonymously to him, and may (if no lynch occurs), kill him. 2 executions. Pierces immunity.

    Bodyguard
    Target one person. If someone attempts to kill him, you kill that someone but die in the process. You pierce immunity.

    Journalist
    Target one person each DAY. That night, they may write an article to be published in the morning. You may also submit questions to that player.
    These questions must be submitted before night falls, otherwise the player will not receive them.

    Escort
    Sex someone at night, preventing them from taking any action.

    Citizen
    You win ties against mafia. Hope to one day be as good as Slaol.


    Order of Operations:
    1. Night Chats open. (This includes jailing and journalism)
    2. Veteran alerts. Survivor Vests.
    3. Bus Driver drives.
    4. Witch Witches
    5. Roleblocks Occur
    6. Bodyguards and doctors protect.
    7. Kills, dousings, and chargings occur.
    8. Framer frames.
    9. Sheriff, invest, and consig investigate.
    10. Dealer Drugs.
    11. Blackmailer Blackmails.
    12. Janitor sanitizes.
    13. Jester annoys.
    14. Lookout and Detective sees all of the above.

    Is it safe to say that Town PR's will all recieve Citizen role cards, are can it be completely random?

    Can a person start the night by pming:
    -investigate X
    -Watch Y
    -heal A
    -follow N
    -Protect E
    etc?
    Just throw a big net of actions in hopes that one of them is your action and you manage to do something.

    Will the incorrect role cards be sent of the same team, or can a town person wind up getting a Serial Killer role card, for example?

    You said that we can do whatever to our posts, does this include editing? There is no mention on whether that is allowed

    The mixed up role PM works like this:
    Let's say Player A is a sheriff, and Player B is a citizen.
    Player A will be told that they are a Citizen. Player B will be told that they are a sheriff.
    If player B sends in a night action, a "You do not have a night action." result will appear in the day post as a night result.
    If player A sends in a PM a la "-target [player]," they will investigate that player, and the result will be in the day post.

    Not sure what to think of this no night feedback message approach. It really isn't that much work to send them, though I suppose it could have some interesting effects on the metagame.

    What happens if the citizen has his rolecard switched with a bus driver and he submits only one target?


    Need description of win conditions for killing neutrals, witch and student.

    What neutral roles can a sheriff detect? And can he tell the difference between different evil roles?

    Does a bodyguard ignore immunity on the attacker?

    Are last wills allowed? And if so, does the janitor clean them?

    Since blackmailing relies on players being good sports and not posting because the host told them not to, how does a blackmailed player know he wasn't drugged with blackmail drugs / whether or not he is allowed to talk?

    Why is there an amnesiac in the investigation pairings and OoO, but not on the possible roles list/role cards?


    Does the journalist submit questions during the day as well?

    Only the mafioso/godfather can be sent to kill at night? If yes, what happens if the mafia has no kill-capable roles left?


    Are arsonist douse and incinerate night actions that have to be used on separate nights?

    Are bullet proof vests on SK/Arso/EM single use and automatic?

    Can the witch get roleblocked?

    Can the bus driver get witched?


    Can the witch cause self targeting?

    Does the witch force targets that normally don't visit others (like citizens, survivors) to visit someone anyway?

    Can the witch force a veteran alert or survivor vest?

    Can the witch force a jailor to execute?

    Do detectives/lookouts see whom a jailor jailed, survivor vest use, or arsonist incineration?

    Can the spree killer self target?

    The night feedback isn't actually because it's difficult, that's just the RP. I thought it would be a cool mechanic and I wanted to see how it would work out.

    Yes, you could report it or send me a PM.

    Do people who receive blackmail drugs also receive this blackmail notification PM or does it just appear in the list of events at the start of the day? If they do receive the PM, it would make the blackmailer as a role obsolete.

    They do not receive a PM if the blackmail is from a drug dealer.

    If the drug dealer "blackmails" say, a sheriff, one of the results could look like:

    You have been blackmailed! You may not speak during the day except to vote once!

    I don't get this.
    Why would a blackmail drug make a sheriff think he was witched when there is a witched drug?
    Also, blackmail drug = real blackmail? because no one will risk getting modkilled by talking when blackmailed. It will be impossible to know the difference between a real blackmail and a drugged blackmail.
